My latest collection, ‘Wild Garden’ has all the floral and Spring-time feels in peachy-pinks, teal and cream. Here’s a sample of some of the patterns you can find in my store. 🌸🍃
I don’t enter many challenges, but given there were 1462 entries in last week floriography challenge I’m pretty happy that my ‘Wild Garden’ pattern came 52nd. Not quite the top 50, but almost!
I couldn’t be happier with how this beautiful client project worked out. I love how my client’s opted for a jumbo sized print on this retro/vintage girls dress. 😍
Indian florals in soft, neutral taupe, grey and off white.

Hello there! I’ve been almost non-existent on IG lately thanks to a really bad (wipe-me-out-completely) dose of the flu and before that a week of cluster migraines.
So yep, it’s been pretty nasty.
Thankfully after a few weeks of recovery and an amazingly supportive, independent husband and family who kept everyone fed, washed, transported and me dosed up on meds … I’m finally getting back on track.
So here’s a cheery, retro floral to greet you all again, and hope you’re managing to keep the colds and flu away this winter.
Let’s bring on spring!! 🌸☀️
I love seeing where my patterns end up. 🌊
My ‘Abstract garden’ pattern is now available on boards shirts.
Here’s my citrus grove pattern which I’m entering in this week’s French country table linens design challenge. I actually designed this pattern several years ago and completely forgot about it until this week.
When I thought of sitting down to a lazy lunch in the Provençal French countryside my mind went to a table set with a classic blue and white colour combo featuring citrus or stone fruits. 🍋
So my citrus pattern has been given a new lease on life this week.

Oooh, I can’t wait to see what create with these autumnal toned fabrics. Stay tuned!
I would love your help! I’m trying to figure out what colour-way to choose for a non-direction floral wallpaper design for the design challenge. I would love to know which colour-way you like best for wallpaper? The colours choices are:
1) Soft pink and beige
2) Fondant and dusty pink
3) Cornflower blues
4) Periwinkle and Lilac
I’m often drawn to certain colour combinations and tones, which is part of my ‘style’ but I also know some of my favourite patterns have come from when I step out of my comfort zone. So THANK YOU for taking the time to leave your comment on what you like best below. 💛💛

Colour trend outlook 2024 - Apricot 🍑
According to trend forecasters, you’ll be seeing this colour trend more and more over the next year or two. While Peach has been emerging and will keep trending, its deeper more orange-toned cousin, Apricot is predicted to feature across all areas in design, from apparel to homewares and interiors.
It’s versatile, trans-seasonal, gender-neutral and its warm, calming tone also speaks of optimism & positivity. Seriously what’s not to love about this upcoming colour trend!

✨ Play is the occupation of children ✨
This collaboration with Matching Clothes - Kids & Dolls] is one I’m so happy to be a part of. As a mum of four, pattern designer and part-time paediatric OT, this project brought together so many of my passions … cute, fun kids clothing that sparks imagination and role-play.
Pretend play provides opportunities for children to learn about the world and their place in it while developing their social, language, thinking and problem solving skills. It helps children understand another person’s point of view (theory of mind) as well as the process of imagining, planning, sequencing and performing a play idea. And sooo much more!
These skills are healthy for all children to develop, and I love the fact that Matching Clothes - Kids & Dolls] range has kids and dolls clothing options for both girls and boys.
I usually love to plan, have my ideas, goals and checklists written down … BUT sometimes I just want to put pen to paper rather than an iPad and sketch with no real plan in mind … just for fun and see what I create. Sometimes when I take the pressure off I make some of my favourite patterns.
This might turn out as a pattern or maybe not, although I already have some colour palettes for it swirling around in my head.
Someone knows how to have a good time! This was a super fun collaboration with swimwear, creating fun and festive designs for this versatile range of kids swimwear.
Some of their garments are double-sided, so you can get two patterns on the one swim suit!
☀️
Just sharing some love 💛🌸💛
Happy Friday!
I’m currently working on several pattern collections, one of them being a small Valentine’s Day collection 💛💛
I’ll keep you posted with more details over the next couple of weeks.
