Great ride for Sam 2023

Lifting for Sam, thanks to all of you

Sam Says bring the paint on the mass ride. Below are two of Sams painted bikes, his two loves in life were painting and cycling. His idea was to paint a picture and then replicate it onto a bike and sell them as one item, but as you know that will never happen. Until our Government adopts the Dutch Reach into law and our driver training cyclists will still be seriously injured or as in Sams case killed. Use the Reach, teach the Reach it might save someone’s life. The Dutch Reach is where you open the car door with your inside hand (left for driver) by doing this your body automatically twists so you look in your mirror and over your shoulder and check for cyclists before opening your vehicles door safely!!!

Sam says great ride with Leicester Critical mass last night, with great people. Shame about the two Arriva bus drivers , maybe they need to attend a cycling course to correct their actions and to learn the close pass. Just for their own reference, it’s 1.5m !!!!!

We would just like to say thank you to everyone who turned out for Sams ride, you all made a hard day feel a little easier and Sam always liked good get together. It felt quite humbling to see so many people turn out for him. We would also like to say a big thank you to Leicester Critical Mass for organising the ride and to all the out riders who kept everyone safe. Once again thank you to you all. From Sams family
