From 12 to 20 hours on average a person spends planning a trip! This time can easily double if you're researching a new and unfamiliar destination and take up to 40 hours depending on a type of a journey - says recent research.

Should a one week vacation take a 20 hour of your time to plan it?

Only about 20% of consumers seek the help of a professional travel planner. Besides aggravation and costly travel mistakes, studies show an experienced travel planner can save travelers an average of more than $400 per trip.

By comparison, it takes an average of 13 hours to do the income taxes and yet 56% pay for professional tax preparation.

The travel planning process becomes even more time consuming if you need to plan your budget and the journey.

If you want to save your time and money - hire a personal travel planner to do all the planning and organization for you and you will get a personally tailored itinerary, individual recommendations, and a great travel experience without any stress. For prices you can check our website - link in bio.

Anafiotika - a password to a beautiful walk in Athens. This is a small neighborhood in famous Plaka district, that charmes by its winding streets and architecture of famous Greek islands.

Unique in every aspect, the Cycladic neighborhood of Anafiotika was built by craftsmen and workers from the island of Anafi when they arrived in Athens after the liberation of the city.
The tiny white houses among the rocks, hidden stairs, gardens with the colorful flowers and cacti, the narrow alleys and the mazy planning are very much alike to the style found in The Cyclades.

The most colorful of all the islands of Venice, Burano has become famous as a center for lace making and cute houses.
The name of the island - Burano - comes from the word Boreana, the district or gate to the city of Altino. The first houses made of bricks were built around the year 1000, until that time, houses were made on piles, and the walls and ceilings were made of clay.

By the way - why are the houses on the island of Burano painted so brightly?
The fact is that the tourists from Venice always went to visit Murano - for its glass arts and crafts. But tourists did not go to Burano as lace was not enough to attract tourists. At some point, authorities realised that it was necessary to make the town appealing, so they decided to give it a new fresher and brighter look, so the decision was made - to color houses. It worked. All tones of rainbow can be found on the streets of Burano.

The scarf I bought in Venice really matches the vibe here!

Beaches of Cuba are marvellous, form every aspect. They are clean, almsots empty, white sand and turquoise water add the magic to the atmosphere. You don’t need to stay in resort to embrace this beauty.

However, if you are going to visit Cuba you have to know that Booking.com is not available there, so the perfect way is to rent an apartment on Airbnb, that how you get the true impression of a local life. Which is very different from western world. While some goods are available, there are so many things that are hard to get in Cuba.

We would also suggest you bringing something nice to your hosts in Cuba from wherever you are, they will be happy - some simple things as candles would be a perfect souvenir.

Do you know the difference between Pastéis de Nata and Pastéis de Belem?

Pastéis - a magical word, if you’ve ever been to Portugal and tried these delicious tarts, the whole trip flashes before your eyes hearing this word.

However, it might be confusing how to call this pastry correctly, so let’s figure it out!

It is known that these cakes were invented a long time ago by two sisters from the monastery of Mosteiro do Jerónim, which is not far from Lisbon. In those days, monasteries used egg whites to carefully starch the nuns' clothes, and the remaining yolks were used to make cakes, pies, and pastries. At that time, those little custard cakes were called Pasteis de Belem, because of the location of the monastery in the city of Belem.

The recipe was kept secret for a very long time until Portugal's revolution in the 1820s when many monasteries began to close. In order to get at least some income, the nuns of the Jeronimos monastery began selling their pasteis at a nearby sugar factory. However, in 1837 the monastery was closed, and the owners of the factory bought the recipe for cakes.

The most interesting thing is that this factory produces pastéis cakes to this day. Despite the fact that pastéis-de-nata can be tasted in any Portuguese city, the most real, original, and famous cakes are made in the factory called Pasteis de Belem. This area, which can be reached by a vintage tram, is a must-see part of Lisbon for the famous patisserie.

Pasteis-de-nata is the name of this delicious pastry throughout the whole country, each region of Portugal and each baker has its own way of tweaking the original recipe, but the egg filling and flaky crust are the desired outcome from everyone.

Save the location, this delicious dessert is already a reason to visit Portugal!

Traveling is life! It gives you your best memories for life, precious moments to come back to, and an inspiration to go on!

We are travel enthusiasts, who know for sure how much traveling means in life, not only leaving your comfort zone and exploring but also the feeling of being in the moment and enjoying living in this beautiful world.

We travel for different purposes, but it is what we love the most, and some moments like these stay with us forever:

Hopping in the car in Berlin afternoon to hit the floor of Paradiso in Amsterdam in the evening

Same day breakfast in Vienna and dinner in Milan

Sleeping in a car up in the mountains near Split with the best sea view ever (by the way, drop a message, if you need coordinates)

Running around Malaga airport looking for our friends who came from Dominican Republic

A policeman in Genoa putting the gas in our car because the machine took our money and didn’t give us fuel

Bringing vinyl from the record stores all around the world

Jumping off the cliff in the crystal clear water in Croatia

Walking 30 minutes in Amsterdam in the opposite direction (it was so much fun)

Being stalked by a squirrel in Mexico City

Driving a yellow Cabrio in Germany

Flying on a balloon in Cappadocia

Having mysterios foggy night conversations on The Northern Sea shore

Avoiding being fobbed in Milan by a stalker because of our vigilance

Watching the magic dance of Aurora Borealis and collecting sea corals

Visiting magnificent Wadi Rum with a local

We can continue on and on, as we have so many adventures and stories to tell and our feet are so itchy to make new adventurous memories!

Do not postpone your best journey, celebrate life!
Order your trip planned for you - this we do best!

Seville deserves attention. Any time of the year is perfect to visit the capital of Andalucia. There are many attractions in Seville that you are sure to enjoy: buildings with a rich history, interesting neighborhoods full of life, flamenco performances, delicious tapas, modern and traditional architecture, and unforgettable city atmosphere!

The Metropol Parasol (on the photo) is a controversial symbol of Seville. The giant canopy, designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer, is said to be the world's largest wooden structure. The Metropol Parasol is really impressive for its size and appearance - umbrella-shaped columns 30 m high and a wave-shaped roof in the form of honeycombs is called Las Setas (The Mushrooms) by locals.

The underground level (Level 0) houses the Antiquarium, where Roman and Moorish remains discovered on site are displayed in a museum.

Level 1 (street level) is the Central Market. The roof of Level 1 is the surface of the open-air public plaza, shaded by the wooden parasols above and designed for public events.

Levels 2 and 3 are the two stages of the panoramic terraces (including a restaurant), offering a view of the city centre.

The Metropol Parasol curved roof is one of the best places to watch beautiful sunsets in Seville.

Grab a drink and enjoy!

South African artist Daniel Popper, known for his massive figurative sculptures, has created this piece of art as part of the Arts and Culture Festival in Tulum, Mexico.

The towering installation is called Ven a la Luz (coming out into the light) and consists of wood, metal, plants, and rope shaped into a female figure - all the elements can be found in nature. Her torso is filled with lush green plants that create an arch for viewers to walk through.

Ven a La luz is installed permanently at the Ahau Tulum resort. The work symbolizes our deep connection with nature and ourselves, the interaction between people and others.

Stendhal Syndrome has been born in Florence and it is the name for a state of mind when someone becomes lightheaded or dizzy because of the outstanding art.

As strange as it sounds it is really true. In the early 1800s a French author Stendhal visited Florence, he experienced dizziness and faintness when he had seen all the art of the beautiful city. It wouldn’t get so important but in the late 1970s an Italian doctor noticed over 100 cases of the same set of symptoms of other people visiting Florence.

This has been associated with the Stendhal and named the Florence Syndrome also a Stendhal Syndrome.

It is a month of war in Ukraine and it is my birthday today!

It is usually a time of a year when I reflect on my life, achievement s and shape my goals for the year. But this time is different. The only things that are on my mind are peace, solidarity, pain, empathy, frustration - and all is 1000 times more intense than usually.

I think a lot of people! Different people, different destinies, paths, and lives. I am deeply sorry for all people in Ukraine are going through, and moreover I hear and feel the devastation that people have been going through in other wars and military conflicts. It does not have place in the 21 century, it shouldn’t have.

I just want to leave this here as a reminder. To myself, and to you. It is important to live your life now! Enjoy it! Be in it! Make the nest out of it!

Book Store of High Water - Libreria Acqua Alta - is a unique bookstore in Venice that keeps the books in the basins, such as bathtubs, rowboats, canoes, or a gondola in the center of the shop to prevent them from damaging during the high tide. The interior here is incredibly interesting.

The self-proclaimed “most beautiful bookstore in the world” has a number of overstuffed rooms with books, magazines, maps, and other interesting objects.

It’s a great photo spot in Venice, but it is also a great place to visit and buy a card or a book as a souvenir.

Neon museum in Warsaw is a great place to learn about neon lights. The museum’s collection consists of hundreds of neon signs that were put up throughout Poland from the 1950s to the 1970s and some pieces are from all over the world.

To make a neon sign you’d need an electrified, luminous tube lights filled with rarefied neon. The first neon could have been seen in December 1910 in Paris but the peak of the popularity for neons took place between 1920 and 1960 in United States.
By 1940 only in the US there were almost 2000 shops that produced neons!

There are definitely over 50 neon signs in the museum. It is definitely not the usual museum and it surely is an interesting place to visit for just less then 4€

Belém Tower, officially the Tower of Saint Vincent is a 16th-century fortification located in Lisbon that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon.

Due to the size of the fort, only 150 people are allowed inside, which does mean there can be long queues to get in, especially during the peak season. The opening hours of the Torre de Belem are limited, open from 10:00 - 18.30 (summer) or 10:00 - 17.30 (winter). Tickets are priced at 6€.

On the other side of the road you will find Pastéis de Belém cafe, that makes delicious patel de belem every day following the original recipe from the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. The cafe is open since 1837 and the interior there is gorgeous, totally worth visiting.
