Mixtape Magic posted my old Terranova drum and bass mix on YouTube. Gage Jonathan Copenhaver and I did this party at Ole Madrid back in 98 so I made a mix to promote it. This was one of my favorites. I recorded it after hearing R.A.W. rip up a warehouse party in Oakland with hip-hop and DnB so I after that I wanted to mix hip hop, jazz and soul with harder edge stuff. This mix is all over the place as usual but it was fun to make and still holds up pretty well. I think I still have the tape somewhere.

The iKaosillator app is now free. I paid about $30 for it a few years ago and it’s been one of my favorite apps since. It’s super easy to use right away.

Went to the new location in my neighborhood of Normal Heights for lunch yesterday. Thought I would pick up only one or two but they had a bunch that I’ve lost or never found over the years, so I walked out with 20. They have a great selection so far and are adding more regularly. I had to leave a bunch in the bins but I’ll be back soon to see if they’re still there.
