The 2nd to last week of the session was another barn burner as Jay edged out Deke in head to head action. Zach took 3rd off of a no point rebuy, and Frank took 4th off of a rebuy for 1 point.
This turn of events sees Jay tie Bart for first in the session standings with 36 points a piece. Deke's 3 points via rebuy is good for a 35 point second place. Holding strong in 4th place is Frank with 25 points. It all come down to next week to determine who will top the second session of the ETPT!!
The second session's 10th week had Bart tying with a non-league player to jump up to top of the standings. Jay came in third with 4 points, and Chad came in 4th with 2 points.
League standings continue to be a jockey for position as this week Bart vaulted back over Deke to take the lead with 36 points. Deke dropped to second with his 32 points. Jay jumped up to 26 points, good for 3rd. Frank dropped to 4th with 24 points.
The 9th week of the 2nd session saw Deke split with a non-league player to earn 8 points. Bart came in 3rd with 4 points and Jay came in 4th on a rebuy with a point.
This week's outcome saw Deke vault into first place with 32 points, Bart in 2nd with 28 points, Frank in 3rd with 24 points, and Jay in 4th with 22.
Week 8 of the second session saw Frank win on a rebuy against Bart in heads up action. Chad came in fourth.
With that, we have a 3 way tie for first between Bart, Frank and Deke at 25 points a piece. Jay is in second with 21.
The second half of the second session saw Deke split with a non league player in week 7. Frank took third, and Bart took 4th as the standings shuffled yet again.
Deke's win put him at the top of the table with 24. Jay slid down into second with 21. Frank vaulted into a clear third with 19, and Bart's in fourth with 18.
The sixth week saw past winners do battle as Deke edged out Jay in heads up action. After Jay mounted a late tourney rebuy into second place, Bart took third, and Chad took fourth.
Standings have Jay in first with 21, Bart and Deke tied for second with 16 points, and Frank in third with 15 points.
Week 5 saw Jay defeat Dave in heads up action to take the lead in the second session standings. Frank took third and Deke rounded out the top 4.
Session standings have Jay in first with 18 points, Frank in second with 15 points, Bart in third with 12, and Chad in fourth with 10 points.
The second session's 4th week saw two previous Tournament of Champion winners go head to head. Frank and Jay chopped 8 points a piece, as Tyler took 3rd for 4 points and Deke took 4th with 2 points.
Bart still leads the session with 12, Frank has 11 for second, and Chad has 10 for 3rd. There's a 3 way time for 4th with Tyler, Gilbo, and Jay all with 8 points a piece.
Week 3 of the 2nd session had 16 guys enter the grind and Chad left the table with the win in a battle of huge chip stacks against a non leaguer. Tyler took the only other points with third.
The top of the standings didn't change as Bart's 12 are still good for first, but Chad vaults into 2nd with 10, Gilbo drops to third with 8, and a tie for fourth with both Frank and Purvie, ironically, having 4 points each!
The second week of the second session proved to be interesting as a non league player won and Frank came in 2nd on a rebuy, getting him half points. Gilbo came in third on a rebuy, netting him half points, and Bart took 4th.
League standings have Bart in first with 12, Gilbo in 2nd with 8, Purvie in 3rd with 4, and Frank in 4th with 3.
The second session started out with action right away as Bart took it down in heads up action against Gilly, in a battle of last session's 2nd and 4th place finishers. Third went to new league player, Purvie, and Deke took fourth.
The final week of the first session saw some new additions to the league, but it was a veteran who took top prize. Nate fended off a non league threat in second and Bart coasted into third for the night, which moved him up in league standings!
The first session ends with the 2014 ETPT bracelet winner, Deke, in first; Bart in second, 2013 ETPT winner, Jay, in third; and the Silly One eked out fourth! Gilbo narrowly beat out 2015 ETPT winner Frank, as heads up points went to tiebreaker.
Get ready next week as the second session looks to heat up with some new blood and some returning vets!!
The penultimate week of the first session came down to the wire as the top 3 point getters battled it out. Deke came back to take the top spot in heads up action against Jay. This gave Deke 38 points and since Jay rebought, he only accumulated 33. Bart's 3rd place finish brought him up to 32. Frank and Gilbo are battling for the 4th place finish, although Frank is already guaranteed a place in the Tourney of Champions as a previous winner!
It all comes down to the wire next week as Bart, Deke, and Jay continue to battle and jockey for the top spot! !
Week 10 proved to be a crazy one as we had 19 players vying to be top dog. One table took almost all of the rebuys so the final table had major chip stacks. That proved to be the difference maker as 3 of the top 4 came from that table. Bart took first, in heads up action against Chad. Nate took 4th in the only other league place.
Standings for the session have Jay still in first with 30, but Bart's win puts him in a tie for 2nd with Deke as they both have 28. Frank and Gilbo are tied for third with 18 each. Two weeks of action left to go for the first session!!
We are 2/3 of the way thru the first session and we saw some movement on the leaderboard. Jay took first against Bart in heads up action, Frank took 3rd and Gilbo snuck into 4th place!
Session standings changed with Jay jumping into the lead with his win tonite good for 24 points! Deke moved into second with a close 22 points, Frank edged into third with 20, and Bart vaulted into fourth with 18.
Week 7 saw Chizzle get his first top spot of the session as he beat Ben T. who came in second off a rebuy. No other spots got paid out.
With that said, Deke remains in first for the session with 22 points and Frank in second with 16. Chad moved into 3rd with 14, and there's a 3 way tie for fourth with Bart, Gilbo, and Jay all securing 12 points.
Midway thru the first session and we have a break in our 4 way tie to top the league!!
In a huge split, for 8 points a piece, Deke and Frank topped this week's tourney, with no other league points getting handed out!
This puts Deke into a clear first with 20 points, and Frank moves from third into a clear 2nd with 16 points. There is still a 3 way tie for third with Bart, Gilbo, and Jay all hanging on with 12 points each. All other league players have between 0-4 points currently, with six weeks left to catch up and make a mark of the standings.
Week 5 brought new excitement to the title race as Jay finished top of the charts with a split for first place after he rebought and battled back. The only other league player to place was Nate, who finished in fourth.
This also adds some thrills to the session race as Jay's 4 points puts him in a 4 way tie for first place with Bart, Deke, and Gilbo who all have 12 points, too. Frank is in second with 8 points.
The 4th week of the first session was a crazy one as Bart took first, despite Money making a late surge. Even more astounding was Money taking a late rebuy at the 3000-6000 stage, which only gave him 6500 in chips, theoretically ONE BIG BLIND!! Despite that, he finished 2nd with his late comeback. Gilbo managed to hold onto third and Deke took 4th.
League standings: Gilbo, Deke, and Bart are tied for first with 12 points a piece.
Jay and Frank are tied for 2nd with 8 points a piece.
Week 3 of the first session saw the triumphant return of Gilbo, who split 1rst place with Jay. Bart got his first points of the session with a 4th place finish!!
The Second week of the 2016 first session saw four league players place in the top 4. Jonnie Drama shot for the stars and landed in his coveted 4th place spot! Dave J took third and two of the 3 previous League champs split for first as Deke and Frank split 8 points a piece.
The first week of the first session of 2016 proved interesting as only 2 league players placed. Deke, our 2014 Tourney Champ took 4th and Chizzle took 3rd.
Congrats to Frank, who won the 2015 E.TP.T. Tourney of Champions!! Great season for the "All-Inner!!"
The second week of the 4th session saw Deke battle back against Dave J's massive chip stacks to take first and put Dave in 2nd. Jeremy took 3rd and Bart finished 4th in back to back weeks.
Deke's outright win put him on top of the session with 10 points. Rob and Jay stay tied for 2nd with 8 pts a piece and Dave J is in third with 6. Dean, Jeremy, and Bart all have 4 points in 4th place.
Kitty is at $ 135.
The fourth session kicked off with a tie between Jay and Rob, with them splitting points to ensure a first place start. Dean took 3rd and Bart took 4th.
The third session was a crazy one and it saw some come from behind moments but ultimately one guy stayed on top for the majority of the session. Deke came out on top, despite a late surge from Frank and Rob. Rob ended up in second place, Frank took third and Chad "Chizzle" ended up in the 4th spot.
The final week of the second session saw Money come in first, Zach take 2nd, J Love take third, and Frank take 4th. That 4th put Frank into a tie for first in the league with Rob at 24 points a piece. Bart came into 2nd with 22 points and Deke and Jay came in third with 20 points
Week 11 saw Frank and Deke split first, Chad take third and Bart take 4th.
League standings saw Rob hang onto first with 24 points. Frank and Bart are tied for second with 22 and Deke and Jay are tied for third with 20.
Week 10 saw Bart vault into a tie for 2nd place taking it down in heads up action against Jay. Frank took third to earn 4 points.
League standings: Rob in first with 24, Bart and Jay in 2nd with 20, and Frank in fourth with 14.
In yet another crazy week of this wild second session, we saw only two league players place again. Week 9 finished with Ben taking 4 points and Rob taking 2. Dave J. had the chance to take some points but didn't rebuy for points. 2 points for a 4th place finish keeps Rob on top of the standings with 22. Jay in second with 14, Deke with 12 in third, and Ben vaults into 4th with 11.
