While I’m not positive that this is true for EVERY single food that has a TV commercial, it is pretty standard! I never even thought about this until now, but how many times per day do we see a commercial for something that is totally processed, made for a drive thru, or filled with GUNK! Let’s play a game!! Who has a show they’re planning to watch tonight? Thursday is a big TV night! Let’s see how many commercials for unclean stuff we see during just 1 show tonight! Let’s compare tomorrow & see what our numbers were during the show! I don't have cable so I'm counting on you ladies to pull through for me!
I love some of these clean eating swaps! You might convince yourself that the taste is different at first, but if you stick with these, soon enough, you will enjoy your new, cleaner version even better than the old! :) Does anyone do any of these already??
Good morning beauties! Let's do something fun today - I love this exercise, I've done it a few times before, and I especially do it when I am having a hard time getting back into my routine or the cravings become super real.
Let's list 5 things that we miss, but have had to give up (or let's use the word limit) because of our lifestyle change AND let's list 5 things we have to gain (or maybe have already gained!) from this lifestyle change! I bet we'll all see how much more we have to gain than what we've given up :) Excited to see these!
The weather has been so nice lately! And of course, my family has been wanting Popsicles and ice cream galore! Everything you buy in the freezer section is LOADED with added sugar and so many other yucky ingredients. So, I decided to just make my own 😊
The best part? It's only 3 ingredients!
1 large banana
12 strawberries, halved
1/2 cup of liquid (can be water, milk, juice - just beware of added sugars in juice)
Blend until smooth for about 2 minutes, poor into molds, and freeze
That's it!!

My body was telling me to MOVE today so I thought I would throw it way back with my girl Chalene and the first program to help me lose weight and get healthy - Turbofire! My dvds are long lost in storage BUT I streamed it right from my laptop, in my bedroom away from chaos, with Beachbody On Demand and let Chalene kick my butt! I will admit that I was huffing and puffing by the end of it, but I blame it on this basketball of a belly 😉 Feeling SO good now!!
Today's yummies: Banana Berry Blast
1/2 a frozen banana
Handful of frozen berries (I used strawberries and blueberries)
1 scoop of Strawberry Shakeology
8 oz cold water
Blend until smooth and drink up!
I am getting my daily dose of dense nutrition with this good stuff, and little baby girl is loving it! She's currently dancing around in my belly and saying (I imagine), THANKS MOMMA!! Hey, only the best for my babies! ❤️👌
Ahhhhhh! What is that, a monster?! 😳 No, no don't worry. It's just me with my new found beauty love. I found this little gem on Pinterest and thought I would give it a shot. Indian Healing Clay : used for facials, acne, body wraps, clay baths, foot soaks, chilled for knee packs, and even insect bites!
Today, I chose to mix equal parts clay and apple cider vinegar (which also has so many amazing health benefits) and slather it all over my face 😀 As it dries it literally sucks all the yucky stuff out of your pores. It gets super tight on your skin and you can feel your face pulsating, but it is oh sooo good. Perfect for a little Sunday pamper. 👌

I feel myself getting sick.....again. So along with taking it easy today, I'm sucking down my daily dose of chocolatey, peanut buttery super foods and antioxidants. I just gotta feel it in my veins!!! 😍😍😍
We are a few days into the first full week of the new year! I don't know about you, but i can't believe it is already 2015. The last year just flew by for me but was such a crucial year in my life. I made A LOT of changes, a main one being my lifestyle. I started 2014 brand new to clean eating and getting back into working out, getting back to ME. I ended 2014 45 pounds lighter, HEALTHIER, and SO much happier. You have a brand new year right in front of you. Where will YOU be when it ends? You have goals right? What plans do you have to reach them?
