Osa's batter up came into existence because of her passion for baking brownies and making Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits. She became obsessed with baking and creating. She started watching You-Tube videos about baking and ran across Rosanna Pansino. She was mesmerized by her skills and wanted to be able to duplicate or match her work.. She would find recipes and text them to her mother to stop o
n the way home and pick up ingredients so that she could try them all. Her mother then joined BWN Missouri Illinois Chapter under State Director Tina Adams-Turnipseed which is a sisterhood of like-minded women that collaborate, support, edify and give back to the community. She was given a kid entrepreneur book at an event. Her mother's membership allowed her to participate in the Kidpreneur program for free. This program teaches children that they can be their own boss and empowers them to be strong leaders. One of her first assignments was to create a vision board in order to hone in on her true passion. She found at through that activity that she liked to make cupcakes. She was allowed to showcase them at the Winter White party for the group. They were a huge success. That is how she started creating cupcakes. Most Kidpreneurs will finish with their business licenses and a flourishing business. They are given opportunities to showcase their business and to sell their product to a multitude of people.
