This past weekend, we continued our "Operation" sermon series by looking at ways we, as the church, can become healthier. As we recognize how easy it can be to become caught up in the cares of life and worldly, we must focus our lives on pursuing Jesus, turning away from sin, and guarding ourselves against being complacent and prideful.

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers! We had so much fun getting to celebrate all of our volunteers and the great work they do to invite everyone to follow Jesus and move to the center of God's purpose for their lives in all of our campuses.

Cookies & Conversations will be held on Sunday, Aug 25th at 3PM at the Frisco East Campus! The theme is, "Why Is Diversity Essential In The Body of Christ? Because It Reflects Who God Is!"
Also, Unity Group starts on Aug 29th! We will meet on Thursdays at the Frisco East at 6:30PM and work through the RightNow Media study, "In Church As It Is In Heaven."

This past weekend, we wrapped up our "Deep End" sermon series by hearing from our campus pastors about how we can find depth in our relationships. When we walk alongside each other, encourage growth in our relationships with each other and God, and are honest with each other, we step into the deep end of our relationships and find community.

This past weekend, we kicked off the "Deep End" sermon series by looking at what it means to have spiritual depth. If we want to go into the deep end of our faith, we need to accept Jesus' invitation for everyone to follow Him, be intentional about spending time with God, and trust that Jesus is the way to an abundant life.

When we are jealous or envious of what others have, we need to practice contentment with what God has given us, trust that God will provide, and find satisfaction in God and not in things of this world.

This weekend, we unpacked the heart of the 8th commandment: Do not steal. We may not steal items or money, but we can often steal time, friendships, credit, and more. If we want to surrender to God, we must trust Him to provide and practice gratitude and contentment with what we have.
