Here is another one of our 7 interns introducing themselves! • Kandi Alexander is my name, I’m 17 years of age, my favorite color is Turquoise, and I love​ ​PINEAPPLES​. I’m a rising senior at Detroit School of Arts who is a Radio &
Television major there and also a broadcast team member. I produce a Teen Talk called
Can U Relate​ on ​90.9 WRCJ​ and it airs every 2nd Wednesday, of every month, @ 7:30pm. I am also a Future Project Member. I am quite multi-talented, with experience in: Writing (Script, Poems, and Songs), Editing (Video and Audio), Director short films, play an instrument (Piano a little bit), and even rap (a little). Filmmaking and making music is something I would love to pursue as a career. My biggest goal for life is to own a company that could continue to grow and expand around the world and bring light to the youth. I am strong and very determined and passionate. I’m perfectionist and dedicated to anything that comes my way; I work hard. I don’t want to be a legend, I want to leave a legacy. Special thanks to the Sean Anderson Foundation, Quicken Loans, my parents, and all of the supporters I have. Well- that’s all, my Pineapple Friends!

And here’s..... of our interns introducing themselves to you all! • “Hey Everyone, my name is Uniya also known as Uni. I was born and raised in the city of Detroit, Attended Crescent Academy in Southfield,MI. In Middle School I played soccer and I was a Girl Scout. I was always a kid who just loved to think and create, never the person to be uptight and boring, that's how I made my way to Detroit School of Arts in Detroit,MI where I was highly active and graduated successfully. I was Majored in Radio/TV and Theater, Secretary of Broadcasting Team, Future Project Member, Dreams to Reality Member and Yearbook Editor Of Chief. I am also a proud 2018 Midnight Golf Alumni. My personal goals are to be better than the person I was yesterday and to do what I love so I will never have to work a day in my life. Shoutout to my Village: Sean Anderson Foundation, Quicken Loans and all FOC, Detroit School of Arts Radio/TV department, The Midnight Golf Program and my amazing family.”

Martinee Williams, a student from Detroit School of Arts, adds some of her skills gained so far throughout her Mogul Prep experience with Quicken Loans, during last week’s Friday session. Martinee is one of 7 students selected to participate in our pilot internship program, as we look to partner with companies that are eager to bridge the gap between students and career opportunities. Building upon a foundation paved in our Mogul Prep curriculum, these students are discovering how audio/visual productions, event management and social media all play a role with companies thriving in and outside of the entertainment industry. We can’t thank our friends at Quicken Loans for making this possible for these students! •

An iconic moment in , as Kyle Hodge (pictured right) is announced as yesterday’s winner of the ’s ! The recipient of $20,000, Kyle’s innovative use of incorporating his signature love of denim into his shoe design, while sharing that he would use the money to go towards an embellishment machine and building out his business we’re just a few of the factors that brought him to this personal and career milestone moment. Rounding out the Top 3 were Grant Henderson and Sage Sampson, and Big Sean and the Sean Anderson Foundation made sure EVERY participant was blessed with a $250 contribution, to go towards their ongoing creative and design efforts. We can’t thank PUMA and PopEd World enough, for their wonderful enthusiasm, assistance and support in uplifting our creatives and communities! Also - love to to our host facility and friends at the Charles H. Wright Museum!
