2024 must be a year of first for me. First knitted sweater, first colorwork socks, first This is a blanket for Carly. I’ve made a few granny squares in the past but never got around to piecing them together. This blanket uses a join as you go technique to join the squares. So no ends to weave in on this one except for the individual squares.
Pattern: I just made a square measured it and did some math to figure out how many I needed to make a throw size blanket. I ended up needing 110 squares. I’ll add some border rounds after the squares are joined.
Pair #2 for the year!

Finished my first knitted sweater. I’m so stinking proud of myself for finishing this. I started it a year ago and was afraid to pick up the sleeves. But I decided it was a learning process and if it didn’t turn out perfect I would knit another one and change some things. I think it turned out pretty good! This is the Felix pullover. It was a good beginner sweater!

I’ve been playing around with air dry clay the past couple of weeks. The finished pieces are much sturdier than I expected. These are just some little trays/ring dishes I’ve made so far. Me and Carly both agree that this craft is very therapeutic .
This is one of my most favorite hat patterns I’ve made this year! Can’t wait to gift it to a special person!
