PIONEERS: YOU WILL BE ATTACKED

Pioneers… You cannot fulfill the will of God without challenging the way things have always been and causing catalytic changes in the body of Christ. This will inevitably cause many to stumble, scoff, criticize, and falsely accuse you.

There is a demonic strategy set up against every pioneer in their generation that is not only aimed at destroying them, but also scattering the followers. If Satan's attack is successful, everyone involved will come out of the battle hurt and wounded. Remember, Satan uses people to attack, criticize, and question pioneers so that those who are getting set free, refreshed, and empowered by their life and ministry will become confused, disoriented, and altogether stop listening to the emerging pioneers.

Pioneers, you cannot allow yourself to become so easily manipulated by people's criticisms and attacks. Do not try to maintain peace in your heart and life based off of whether people accept or reject you. From my own personal experiences, most of the time God will not deliver you from your accusers, but rather He will actually save you by killing the part of you that is vulnerable to the devil by using the accusations themselves.

As a pioneer, you must recognize that both God and the devil want you to die, but for different reasons. Satan wants to destroy you through attacks and criticisms and then drain you by your unwavering need to explain yourself and your side of the story. (Please stop wasting your time and energy doing this!) On the other hand, God wants to crucify that part in you that was so easily exploited by the devil to begin with. The rest and peace that you are so desiring in your life and ministry will only come when you finally die to what people say and think about you.

Pioneers, in order to deliver you from the praise of men, God will baptize you in their criticisms and attacks. It is painful. You will lose many friendships along the way and the misunderstands will be many. You will pay a price that most around you will never see not understand. You are speaking a language of reform and awakening that many in the body of Christ just don't have an eye or ear for yet. Do not grow discouraged and most of all, do not be surprised when the attacks and criticisms come. Rather than rushing to defend or explain yourself, my advice would be to go before the Lord and ask Him, "What inside of me are you exposing through the accusation and attacks of others that needs to die?"

Meaning:
Everyone's healing processes is their processes, journey is their journey, and healing milestones are their healing milestones. God knows what each heart & mind needs and His grace is sufficient to meet the need.

2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV says “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Serve the Lord with gladness.
Serve intentionally.
Serve spontaneously.
Serve as a reflection of God’s character and Christ's compassion.

Be that kind of

TO SERVE FROM THE HEART OF GOD…
- menially (something lacking interest or dignity)
- as a host
- as a friend
- as a patron
- as a deacon
- as a leader
- as a teacher
- as a minister
IS KINGDOM CULTURE.

Keep saying "YES, LORD!" Kingdom Leaders.

The enemy sends things to challenge the yes you have given to God. You must stay firm in your yes, even when it’s uncomfortable or not popular. Times may have gotten rocky and you are hurting, but glory to God, you are still standing in that YES!

A great year is upon us, . I hope you’re already expecting it and experiencing the Lord’s guidance as we bring 2023 to a close. A great work is ahead of us!

The Lord dropped this word on my way to work this morning. He wants His leaders to be free!

The Lord is freeing His leaders

Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And He said to them,

“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”

Immediately they left their nets and 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️followed Him.

Going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets; and He called them.

Immediately they left the boat and their father, and 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ followed Him.

Then a scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️follow You wherever You go” …

When He got into the boat, His disciples 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ followed Him.
Matthew 8:18-23

As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew sitting in the tax collector’s office; and He *said to him, “Follow Me!” And he got up and 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ followed Him.
Matthew 9:9

Many 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ followed Him, and He healed them all…
Matthew 12:15

So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.

I hear that I’m being painted as cringing and wishy-washy when I’m with you, but harsh and demanding when at a safe distance writing letters.

Bring stability to the people you serve.

God looks for one who can build up the wall and stand in the gap... (Ex 22:30)

Lots of people raise their hand saying: "Pick me! Pick me!", but when put to the test they lack character, confidence or skill. Skill development is a much easier fix than issues with character and/or confidence.

But you need these two in order to do HIS work.

, God trusts us to move out in HUMILITY while carrying out a plan that requires us to be BOLD and CONFIDENT.

It breaks my heart that this is so real in our local churches. 💔

We must cry out against it in Jesus name, raise up a new standard for the generations coming up, and prepare the way for the Lord's Kingdom to come. and are a must if we're ever going to have healthy churches who will be ready - without spot or wrinkle - for the Lord's return.

Luke 22:27. “But I am among you as the one who serves.”

In preparing his disciples for leadership, Jesus taught them a new set of principles for evaluating leadership, relationships, greatness, and life together in the believing community. This new teaching is what we call today “servant leadership.”

The Jesus leadership style means leading others, not lording it over them (2 Cor. 1:24).

It is an others–oriented style of leadership, where the leader humbly serves the people—even the most insignificant ones—expecting nothing in return. It is marked by a willingness to suffer for the good of others, even to the point of being willing to die for others. It is denying self and sacrificing self for others; it is leading by example; it is washing the feet of others; it is loving as Christ loved; it is promoting and advancing the gifting of others. It is treating one another equally as brothers and sisters, not as lords with servants.

Servant leadership ultimately means imitating Jesus and directing people to him and not to oneself.

The Body of Christ is FULL of people experiencing spiritual abuse and "religious trauma". Even though this program is heavy on certain issues, not all religious trauma pertains to non-traditional sexual or gender-based issues.

As needed as it is, finding church and ministry leaders who can 'righteously' help the Lord's wounded ones though the psychological and spiritual effects of religious trauma is almost non-existent.

And let me tell you: the wounded ones who have de-churched are NOT willing to return to our church communities for more of the same. We, the Church, have lost worship leaders, intercessors, armor-bearers, adjutants, bible teachers, children’s ministers, and the like to legitimate spiritual abuse, both sexual and non-sexual.

How we as can remain faithful to our traditional, biblical convictions, but free ourselves from church cultures of abuse-inducing systems, is a tall task for which I have no answers.... but I do know far too many of the casualties.

The Church must have Shepherds who are servant-leaders who are firstly concerned about the condition of the flock. Shepherd-servant-leaders who don’t mishandle the people, nor their influence over them, but are focused on *healthy* spiritual growth and Kingdom advancement.

We church leaders have been veering off-course for way too long. It's SHIFTING SEASON so we can clean up the Bride.

Are you actively and intentionally putting in the time, effort, energy and focus necessary to be able to say: "I have finished the work You gave me to do"?

We are becoming an army of who are out in our communities that our Father has commissioned and mandated us to do.

Unless God told you to stay in the "secret place" with some stuff, let's get on out there!
