I am blessed to have a lot of good friends and grateful to see many of you at my opening tonight. The turnout was wonderful and made for a special night. Here is the one photo I took tonight. The rest of the evening was spent talking with as many people as possible. I don’t create the exhibits for the opening nights but damn are they sure fun. Thanks for making it such a good time.
A brief behind the scenes winter video of me creating photographs for my exhibit WaterWays. This video is at Rocky Gorge off the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Opening reception this Thursday August 8th 5-7pm Cove Street Arts.
The exhibit WaterWays is now ready for your viewing at Cove Street Arts. The opening reception is next Thursday August 8th from 5-7pm. WaterWays captures the peaceful yet powerful journey of water flowing from the untouched snowcaps of the White Mountains, swirling through rivers, and cascading over waterfalls in Maine and New Hampshire, and ultimately merging with the Maine coast.
A photograph from my new exhibit WaterWays at Cove Street Arts this August and September. The opening reception is on August 8th 5-7pm. This photograph is from Cascade Falls in S**o, Maine. I traveled all over New Hampshire and Maine creating the 32 new photographs for the exhibit but one of the most photogenic areas I found was Cascade Falls, only 17 minutes from my home. I hope to see you at Cove Street Arts and at Cascade Falls. 🙂
Homer waiting patiently to go for a walk.
Very happy to let you all know that I will be having a new photography exhibit this August and September at Cove Street Arts with the opening reception on August 8th. The exhibit will feature new photographs of water in motion from the woods of Maine and New Hampshire and along the Maine coast. Photographs like this one at Snow Falls in West Paris, Maine at the Snow Falls rest area, a hidden Maine gem. See you later this summer at Cove Street Arts.
Come check out this exhibit tomorrow night at a cool spot. I have a couple smaller Mackworth Island rock photographs for you to view and purchase to support Mayo Street Arts.
This spring and summer I rode the Portland Tugboats for a photo story for Mainebiz. I had a blast doing the photography and thanks to Portland Tugboat for letting me tag along.
The vital role tugboats play in the global economy — as seen in Maine Photographer Tim Greenway, a longtime Mainebiz contributor, spent part of the spring and summer onboard the tugboat fleet that serves Portland Harbor. His photos from those ventures show the depth of the trade and the role tugboats play in the Maine economy.
Portland Tugboat launches fireworks off one of their boats in Portland Harbor last night July 5. Part of a photo story I am doing on Portland Tugboat for Mainebiz.
As my exhibit comes to an end today (you have until 5pm), I want to thank curator Bruce Brown, Cove Street Arts and everyone who came to the opening, artist talk and viewed the exhibit over the past two months. The response has been wonderful and look forward to sharing more of my art with you in the future. Thank you all very much.
