Here's a fun event coming up in Michigan!

Beefalo has expanded to Europe.

Beefalo Straws from AKDD Isaiah have officially arrived in Ireland. I started this process back in August of 2023. Figuring out all the requirements and testing and quarantine that would need to happen to ship Straws to Europe. So after 10 months it has come to fruition.

The breeder will start AI’ing this month, so hopefully April of 2025 we will actually have some Beefalo calves born in Europe.

Congratulations goes to Kyle Skidmore Beefalo Cattle for their Reserve Champion Male from the Spring Showcase for BBBF Ricky Bobby.

We would like to congratulate Kyle Skidmore with Kyle Skidmore Beefalo Cattle with the Champion Male at the Spring Showcase with FPF Chuck.

Postage will be going out today as opposed to this past Saturday. I apologize but a sickness swept through and took me out of commission for a couple of days!

Good Morning over the next few days the Winter Election Corral will be emailed out to our members who are on our Current Paid dues list, provided we have an active email address. The Corral will also be available on our website. There is a ballot in the Corral for the upcoming election, please print and mail in that ballot, there will also be an electronic version as well on the website. Please see below for the definition of an Active Member. If your membership is paid but not ACTIVE per this definition your vote will NOT count at the upcoming Election.
Active Members, through their Board of Directors and participation, control the Association and its operation. All Board Members are elected by the Active General Membership. (The definition is listed on our website under the Member/Renew/Apply tab)

To be considered an Active Lifetime Member of the American Beefalo Association, you must register and/or transfer at least two (2) Beefalo Cattle within a two (2) year period. Failure to meet this requirement will place a Lifetime Member on Inactive Status. This means that the right to vote will be withheld. However, upon registering or transferring the required two (2) Beefalo Cattle their status will be returned to active.
