Today is the day we honor our Vietnam Veterans and all that they did for the safety of our country. I believe it is vital, more than ever, that we take care of our military veterans. They do not deserve to be put on the back burner. Thank you all for your service! 🇺🇸

Finding alternatives to the city's homeless ordinance 21/03/2024

“We need to do more to help our homeless,” said Guest.

Folks, we need to do better. This is an ongoing problem that will not be resolved until we elect public servants who truly put our community first. I ask you all, open your hearts and walk in someone else’s shoes. It’s hard to imagine isn’t it?

This is a reality for some in our community and we need to use empathy to combat this situation!

Outside time is so important for our children! I don’t know about you, but I love taking walks with my family.

Electing individuals who truly prioritize public safety is a must for our community! Not only is outside time extremely healthy physically, it is just as important mentally.

Creating a safe and healthy environment for all families in our community is my top initiative. Make a vote for public health and safety!🌳

Kokomo teachers score additional raises 11/03/2024

Our teachers deserve this! Education is the lifeblood of our youth and the road to success for many. If our educators aren’t funded properly, not just at our city schools, but also our county school corporations, how are they supposed to retain quality educators? It only takes common sense to understand the reality of this situation. We can do better for our teachers!

Kokomo teachers score additional raises Fresh off an historic contract last fall, Kokomo School Corporation teachers are set to receive another $1,000 this school year plus a $1,000 raise next year.

Photos from Bona Vista Programs's post 11/03/2024

This is what I love about our community! Bona Vista Programs has been an active part of our society and offers so much in terms of their programs. Programs and Non-Profits offering support and guidance are invaluable in our community!

As I continue my campaign, I want all of you to know my huge support for non-profits as well as health and mental health wellness programs. Everyone matters, everyone should have a chance in this world and our community is a building block for that!

Congratulations officers! Thank you for your continued service to our community! Law enforcement is an essential piece to our society.

If elected to the Howard County Council, I would advocate for increased funding for our Sheriffs Department. This would include training initiatives for our officers, up-to-date equipment funding, and community engagement. We owe transparency to our county deputies.

Have a great, blessed day everybody! I am so sorry for the Facebook/Instagram outage this morning. Feel free to comment any issues or questions you’d like included in my series!

Around the age of 12, I encountered someone who would later inspire my aspiration to assist people and become involved in politics. The pivotal moment occurred when I listened to Evan Bayh speak that night, sparking a newfound interest and love for community and neighbors. I am often told "You're too young", "You don't know anything!". From that experience, a desire to lead and inspire others was born. So no, I don't believe I am too young. While I acknowledge there is much for me to learn, I am committed to navigating this journey in the right way for the betterment of our community.

He also taught me how to tie a bow-tie!

City wants a food and beverage tax 26/02/2024

Disappointed to learn about the proposed 1% tax on food and beverages by the City of Kokomo. I strongly oppose burdening our families further. Inflation is already tightening belts.

The ongoing failure of the current administration only highlights the need for new leadership within the city, and especially the county. We deserve a government that genuinely comprehends the challenges we navigate daily. Let's put our community's needs first and reject unnecessary taxes.
