It was a particularly dark Sunday of November, in Nantes. I was playing Jono's guitar motif in a loop and improvised over it on the piano, to warm up. In a short time, somehow, a structure was born. During the evening, Jono called me by phone from his Bohemian countryside. He had just listened to my composition. However, in the silence of our conversation, there was a deep emotion circulating. Jono had just learnt of the sudden passing of a friend we had in common in the Czech Republic: Kaia Mach...
“Novembre” is a seed sown in a time of deep sadness, which announces other meetings with artists from France and the Czech Republic. These fruitful collaborations are the essence of the upcoming album, “Seminky” ("seeds" in Czech).

Friends, I wish now as ever that humanity evolves into a place where we love and respect each other and the planet. Beehive is my medicine for opening a perception of oneness through cross pollination.
Yesterday, I Got a chance to introduce Jono Heyes & Beehive on BBC 6 and the eclectic show presented by Cerys Matthews (Catatonia), who amongst other things recently did a children's book version of Under Milkwood by Dylan Thomas. The show has around 800,000 listeners each week..
There I was given the freedom to frame and introduce the Beehive project, I was delighted my silliness and parody of a BBC presenter got across the line!

Greetings Friends, and blessings during such challenging times for Equinox!
The Earth is miraculous is it not? Why did the universe give birth to a living planet where there are lifeforms capable of being conscious of themselves? Surely not to fight!
This picture I share was released during the 1970s and became a catalyst for the environmental movement, a depiction of Earth's frailty, vulnerability, and isolation amid the vast expanse of space.
Indeed what a precious gift it is to have this relatively short life and this opportunity to experience such an incredible planet, full of infinite details and myriad lifeforms that form such precious webs.
What a gift to know we are in a Universe that surpasses our understanding, that is born of what?
What a grand mystery that we are all part of!
Now we approach the finishing touches of our new album, we are looking forward to sharing this celebration and collection of meditations on being part of something truly wondrous..
