It’s a pretty crazy thought right? You’ve been white knuckling it your whole life. You associated weight loss with hard, boring, a challenge… …something that only happens when you’re ’trying to be good’ (gah this term still gets me 😠) Something that is also fleeting 💨 Once you steer off the plan or you release the shackles ever so slightly…the weight jumps straight back on again 😤 And the viscous loop of self loathing, binge eating and the piercing feelings of defeat kick back in. “What’s wrong with me?” Can I be honest with you? You’re in a toxic relationship with your own self. Yep, I am waving the red flags at you right now 🚩🚩🚩 You might have loving relationships elsewhere, but for yourself? Toxic. This was the story for Sophie. She came to me defeated. Burnt out. Sick of the pattern of being herself. She had tried alllllll the flipping things out there 😒 But nothing ever stuck. Until we took a breath together. And hit the reset button. JOY ✨ We all want that right? Food is an experience, it’s pleasure, it’s part of how we live every single day. I used to fear food, I believed I couldn’t enjoy the foods I liked because it would lead to weight gain. I always had this inner critic in my head whenever I ate out or ate foods that were outside of the ‘healthy’ category. The guilt that followed was palpable 😤 And it usually lead to a YOLO attitude and ate everything in sight in spite of myself. Not these days 🙅🏼‍♀️ I intuitively know my ‘formula’ 📈 I know how to enjoy all foods without guilt and still maintain my weight. I know how to nourish every single day to feel energetic, happy and vital 💚 I haven’t binge eaten in over 10 years and I’m the healthiest, happiest and most balanced I’ve been all my life. I know if I sway too far either way (too strict or too relaxed) it impacts my mental health. I share this with you because I still see soo many women struggle with this, and believe they either need to be strapped to a diet or not to get results, or enjoy life (one or the other, never both). I am here to show you a new way, because it IS possible. The women I help on a daily basis are proving this also.
