ATTENTION: I am in need of a couple volunteers for tomorrow night to cover concessions at AHS for a Regional Basketball game. It's a last minute coverage because the date was changed from Thursday 2/19 to Wednesday 2/18 at 6 p.m. and not all the original volunteers are able to make this new date. ATTENTION: I am still in need of donations for the AHS Football basket for the Trivia night for the silent auction. I have put together a red and gray fleece blanket and a Thirty One Tote for the auction. I am in need of additional items if anyone can for fillers. It is required for each of the teams to donate in part to the silent auction. I would appreciate any donations that could be made from parents of our football players. Contact Sara Darr 444-1874

I will have a Thirty One tote and handmade fleece red and gray blanket for donation but I am in need of items to be donated to help out. The AAA Trivia Night will be held at the LCCC Commons on Saturday, February 28, 2015. This is a HUGE FUNDRAISER for our athletics. Donations are being taken for our basket on behalf of the AHS Redbirds Football team. The theme is of course football related. Please message Sara Darr with donations, suggestions, or questions. REMINDER: Tomorrow night, November 13, the Fall sports banquet will be held at AHS Commons at 6:30. Payment is taken at the door and it is $10 a person, the players are FREE!

Great season for our Redbird Football guys! Varsity was 5-4 overall in SWC. JV was 2-5 2-5 in SWC. Frosh was 6-3 4-3 in SWC. Let's keep up the good work and bring in another awesome in 2015!

The Redbirds played the Maroons last! They were defeated 45-24! Great season guys!

It was Senior Night tonight at AHS Football Game! Congrats and Good Luck to our Senior Football Redbirds!

CONGRATULATIONS! To Zach Edwards! He was chosen by Head Football Coach Jeff Alderman in September as Athlete of the Month thru our Alton Athletic Association! He was given a plaque and a $50 gift certificate to the school spiritwear store.

This our JV Redbirds on Saturday 10/4. They defeated Belleville East.

The Olga's Fundraiser brought in just over $140 for the AHS Football Team! Thanks to everyone that came out to Olga's in support!

This Thursday! Fundraiser at Olga's Kitchen! All you have to do it eat, give the flyer to the server or hostess when you pay, and they will donate 20% to AHS Redbirds Football! It is good on DINE IN OR CARRYOUT! ALL DAY! 10:30-9:00! PLEASE PASS THIS ON!

If anyone is a parent of a Varisty player (mostly new additions) your players sign is on that hillside. Feel free to take it with you after the game. Signs not claimed will be dropped at the Athletic Office for pickup!

Football Varsity signs are on the hill at West for the Homecoming game tonight! Come out to see the parade. Starts at AHS, running past AMS, and heading to West! LET'S GO REDBIRDS!!!!!
