Goals for a great cause: Service and South High continue to promote inclusion with unified soccer The Partners Clubs for the rival schools faced off for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic, on the same night as an annual fundraiser to benefit gynecological cancer research.
The 2024 Service Unified Soccer game was the best ever! Thank you to Dan Rufner, Service varsity teams, and booster clubs for hosting this special night for Partners Club. And thank you, South High Partners Club, for coming to play! ⚽️

2024 Fur Rondy Snow Sculptures
Over 20 years ago, GayLee Erickson was the Life Skills teacher at Service High School. She and her students started the tradition of Partners Club snow sculpting at Fur Rondy. Over the years, hundreds of students, family members, staff, and volunteers have played a part in carrying on this tradition.

We’re all super proud of our Alaska community statewide coming together to raise over $314,000 so Special O can continue their mission of providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, and supporting inclusion through Unified Champion Schools, the Young Athletes Program, and so many other amazing programs.

Please meet us at the South Lot/UAA Wells Fargo student union parking lot, 2921 Spirit Way, Anchorage, AK 99508 tomorrow by 11:00 to take the shuttle. If you’re under 18 and haven’t turned in a waiver, please print, sign, and bring it with you or make sure a Parent/Guardian signs at drop off! We’ll have extra waivers there.
The Special Olympics Alaska Polar Plunge is THIS Saturday, December 17th! Check your email for an important message about plunge day from Mr. Donaldson.
Everyone needs to sign a waiver or you can't jump! If you are under 18, it must be signed by a Parent/Guardian. If you’re able, please print the waiver from your email, get it signed, and bring it to Partners Club tomorrow. If you can’t print at home, pick up a waiver in C-117 and bring it back ASAP as Special Olympics Alaska is coming by Thursday to get our waivers.
Keep raising money! You all have done a phenomenal job. Let's keep up the good work! There is still time to raise the minimum $125 before Saturday. If you need help, please come talk to Mr Donaldson or Mr. A in the P-Club room.
Plunge Day Info:
Meet at the UAA North Parking Lot.
2465 W Campus Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508 at 11:00am to take the shuttle. There is NO parking or drop off at Goose Lake! Map at bottom of email.
💚Wear warm winter clothes for before/after. We will jump at Noon, 12:00pm!
💛Wear your Partners Club T-shirt. We are still waiting on this year’s shirts. If they don’t show up in time, please wear a past years p-club shirt or wear other green/gold Service attire. Have fun with it!
💚Closed-toed shoes with a back that you can jump in (no slides, sandals, or bare feet allowed). Have dry shoes/boots for after.
💛Bring an extra towel! You may bring a plastic bag for wet clothes. We will also have bags available for everyone.
