First time seeing this movie. Such a great movie and a true story. Crazy things like can happen. Not an easy watch but very good. 4th best movie of 1984 IMO.

2010: The year we make contact. It’s the forgotten sequel. Is it as good as 2001? In most aspect…NOPE. However it’s more simple to understand and there’s something to be said for that. Overall a really good flick actually. Worth the watch.

“Wolverines!” I remember seeing this at a friends house on VHS for the first time and really enjoying it. However, rewatching it now I think I liked it even better. Your brain goes into the mode of what would I do in that situation.

Robert Redford has made the list again. This time as an aging rookie baseball player in the Natural. This is a great movie if a little over the top in some scenes. Still I love this movie. Check it out on AMC+ or BYUtv which is a free service I didn’t know about until I rewatched this gem.

I remember this movie fondly from my childhood. High Tech of 1983 sure has changed but the ideas of an Artificial Intelligence was scary even back then. This movie may be more relevant today than it was when it came out. War Games comes in at #8 in 1983.

#10. It had to make my list! #tron

Hidden gem of movie at #5 in 1981! I never had seen this until I decided to start this list. The blowout is a Brian DePalma movie with John Travolta and John Lithgow. Nancy Allen was a bit of a let down for me but still made the list.

American Werewolf in London is a Cult Classic I’ve been hearing about for years but hadn’t watched it. Finally got around to it as I’m hitting up my 1981 movies. It’s entertaining and made it to my #6 spot for 81. Worth a watch for sure. Unique take on the genre.

#7 of 1981 is a personal pick and doesn’t always get a lot of love for its “stupid humor”. I have memories of playing this movie for my grandpa as a kid and him laughing so hard that no noise came out. He just turned red with his eyes closed and a big smile.
