Hello everyone!
It's going to rain again this weekend. If we postpone Nauryz to the next week again, here are the obstacles:
1. the park may be already reserved on those days
2. most of our community membere will have finals and graduation ceremonies
3. overall Nauryz celebration in May is too late
That's why we decided to cancel Nauryz this year.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully, we will have a great picnic after graduation.

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, we again won't be able to hold the Nauryz celebration on Sunday (04/23) due to the rainy weather.
It's now postponed to the next week Sunday (04/30).
We will meet at Danehy Park at 12pm.

Unfortunately, due to the recent weather conditions, we won't be able to hold the Nauryz celebration that was planned for this weekend, Sunday March 19th.

The kids had a program today and it was a blast! They got to do science experiments, read popular Kazakh fairy tales, make bracelets, and learn how to play chess. Kids also played our traditional games - 'Togyzkumalak' and 'Ak serek - kok serek'. It was a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers who made this event possible. Without their hard work and dedication, this program wouldn't have been possible. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our kids!

MIRAS Boston Kazakh Cultural Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to respond to social and cultural needs of Kazakhs in Greater Boston area and to promote cross-cultural awareness that is based on mutual respect and understanding of the Kazakh Culture within the Massachusetts and New England by bringing everyone together.
Our foundation organizes and sponsors educational and cultural activities. Seminars, lectures, festivals, dinners, art performances are some of these activities through which we seek to interact with our community and share and appreciate our common values.
Kazakh community members on regular basis organize different events that aim at creating culturally comfortable environment for adult people and teaching our younger generation of their cultural roots and traditions. We welcome any initiatives that will promote Kazakh culture and language in the Greater Boston area.
