Ukraine society to issue label honoring detection dog Patron, the famous Ukrainian mine-sniffing dog, has detected numerous mines during the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Plymouth Show is right around the corner!
Join us April 29 & 30 at the Hellenic Cultural Center (Westland, MI).
Show schedule:
Saturday 10:00-5:30
and Sunday 10:00-3:00
The Awards Banquet will be held at 8:00 AM (Awards at 8:30) on
Sunday morning. The cost for breakfast will be $20 per person.
The Plymouth Show exhibition is an American Philatelic Society (APS) certified national stamp show and consists of at least 125 frames of all types of philatelic material. The wide variety of exhibits range from early scarcities to modern stamps, postal history, illustrated mail, postcards as well as topical themes. There are certainly items on display for everyone to enjoy. Exhibits are judged by a jury of three APS accredited judges. Awards are presented to top entries and the Grand Award winner is eligible for the annual World Series of Philately (WSP) Champion of Champions competition. The 2023 Champion of Champions competition will take place August 10-13, 2023 at the Great American Stampshow in Cleveland, OH.
Anyone may enter a philatelic exhibit regardless of society affiliation, experience, or number of exhibit frames. Single-frame exhibits (16 normal-size pages) are in a separate category, as are exhibits by youth under age 21. Youth exhibits are subdivided into age classes for judging. A special Novice Award is presented to the best exhibit submitted by a beginner who has not previously won a medal in a competitive show. After a several years without exhibits, the PLYMOUTH SHOW IS BACK!
The Plymouth Show exhibits and bourse will be held at the Hellenic Cultural Center. Ample free parking is available adjacent to the facility and refreshments will be available throughout the show. The venue is a modern, air conditioned and handicap accessible building.
