Accounts Receivable /Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Full-time (40 hours per week) Accounts Receivable /Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various accounting software, including QuickBooks and Paychex (preferably in Paychex but can train). This position will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process as well as some payables and processing a biweekly payroll; ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

Responsibilities include: A/R, A/P, Collections, Bank and credit card reconciliations, Payroll, Familiar with ACH payments, Generate and send out statements to customers, Monthly bank reconciliations, Set up new customer accounts, Annual MN state renewals, Process requests for invoice requests/research customer account requests, Applies customer payments and Oversee the company's 401K plan

Requirements include: Proven experience in accounts receivable/ payable/payroll, Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices, Proficiency in QuickBooks, Paychex payroll system (can train), Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, Experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation, Detail orientated, Problem solving/Analysis, Team player, Ethical conduct, Results driven, Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, Retail background a plus, Minimal supervision

About us: STAR Group, LLC is a growing privately owned business with 18 NAPA locations (17 in MN and 1 in IA). We have our own warehouse in New UIm that supplies product to our 18 locations.
Our Admin staff is located in New Ulm currently. We are currently hiring due to an employee moving out of the area.
