A lil PSA for any of our future brides, or ones who may be questioning whether or not to tan for your wedding…my #1 goal for brides is to ensure you look and feel like the best version of yourself. It’s ALL about making sure you’re 100% comfortable and confident in your own skin. Spray tanning is about ENHANCING your skin, and adding that extra “oomph” ✨

Whether it’s snaps from a rowdy bachelorette weekend in Scottsdale, or a curated photo shoot you had with your 3 dogs, trust me, I love to see em ALL! so listen up…

-send us at least 3 (or more if you’d like!) pictures of you in your SF spray tan 📸
-can be group shots, solo pics, selfies, etc.
-they don’t have to be professionally taken photos, either! just pics that YOU love and want to share with us! (ALLL the iPhone pics are welcome + even encouraged)!

I’m genuinely honored + delighted when I get the opportunity to spray tan you guys for such an important and memorable day 🤍 With that said, wedding season is quickly approaching and I want to ensure your ideal appointment date/time slot is secured. So please - book sooner rather than later!

(Appointments can be made as far as 3 months out and as soon as 24 hours out, so keep that in mind when scheduling)!

Let’s talk TIMELINES for your spray tan ✨👇🏼

WEDDINGS 🤍
2 days before is IDEAL - especially for brides! You’ll need to rinse 2 full times between the spray tan and wedding. The first rinse after your tan is to remove the cosmetic bronzer off your skin (AKA - the stuff that rubs off on clothing & that you see go down the drain). Ideally, you should get ALL of the bronzer off in your first rinse, but in case there is any remaining, a second rinse is always recommended to ensure no transfer to your dress.

TIMELINE EXAMPLE
* Friday rehearsal dinner + Saturday wedding = spray tan any time Thursday
* Thursday rehearsal dinner + Saturday wedding = spray tan Thursday morning (with our rapid solution)

VACATIONS ✈️
Schedule as soon as to when you leave as possible (+ leave adequate time to rinse)! We don’t need to spray you 5 minutes before you leave for the airport, we still want to leave enough time for you to rinse BEFORE your travels begin! Tanning close to when you leave allows your day of “traveling” for the tan to develop and do its thang, so by the time you arrive, your color will be looking 💯. With vacations comes many factors that can cause your tan to fade quicker, mainly the increased exposure to water, pools/chlorine, air travel + booze (both of which dehydrate the skin), and so on. I want nothing more than for you to live your best life on vacay, but also want your tan to LAST! A newer + fresher tan will be ready to hold out longer throughout your trip vs. a 3-day old tan. That, plus proper aftercare will be key for your getaway!👌🏼

TIMELINE EXAMPLE
* Friday EARLY morning departure (talkin’ 5/6am) = spray tan Thursday morning or afternoon + rinse before bed
* Friday late morning/early afternoon departure (around 10/11am) = spray tan any time Thursday + rinse Friday morning
* Friday late afternoon/evening departure (around 2/3pm or later) = spray tan Thursday night, sleep in it, + rinse Friday morning/afternoon OR spray tan Friday morning (with our rapid solution) + rinse before departure

EVENTS/WEEKEND PLANS 🍾
This one isn’t as strict, but in a perfect world, I suggest tanning 1-2 days before your set plans.

VACAY TANNING TIPS 🐚🌊

Some may ask, is a spray tan necessary if I’ll just be going to the beach and getting tan anyways? Umm, absolutely it is! Who wants to be pale those initial first few days? Plus, it’s the PERFECT alternative to attempting a tan solely from the sun and risk burning or severely damaging your skin in the process. ☀️

•BOOK your tan as close to the day you depart for your trip as possible. For example: If your flight leaves Thursday, try to schedule sometime Wednesday or early Thursday morning (if doing same-day tan, depending on the time you depart, I would recommend our rapid solution).

•WEAR an oil-free sunscreen! Spray tans do not protect against the sun’s rays, so it’s important to continue to wear SPF (ideally 30 or higher), and reapply ~every 2 hours.

•PAT your skin dry, don’t rub. Anytime you get out of some form of water (this includes showers), always pat your skin dry with a towel vs. rubbing. Rubbing will create extra friction on your skin and will essentially be “exfoliating” your tan off.

•AVOID chlorine pools and hot tubs, if possible (I know it’s your vacation + want you to enjoy it, so do what you will with this recommendation 😉).

•APPLY our Nuda] lotion at least 2x a day to keep your skin hydrated and tan lasting.

•TOUCH UP your face and hands after a few days (as they typically fade first) with our ultra hydrating Nuda] Face Tan Water.

PRO TIP: Before getting in the pool or ocean, apply a layer of lotion UNDERNEATH your sunscreen as an extra layer of protection for your tan.

PRO TIP #2: Immediately after getting out of the shower, while your skin is still damp, apply body lotion all over your skin. This will help lock in moisture and keep your skin, and tan, looking flawless and hydrated!

✨ I bring EVERYTHING we’ll need for a stress-free, mess-free, and successful spray session
✨ All I need from YOU is a space to fit my tent (it’s about 4x7ft) and a little extra room for my supplies bag (think around the size or smaller of an airplane carry on), plus of course room for me to fit & maneuver around, too 😊
✨ Timing wise, it takes 5-7 minutes for set-up, about 10 minutes per spray, and 5-7 minutes for breakdown/cleanup

Due to the MAJOR increases in gas prices, as well as a jump in costs for equipment and supplies, there will be a $5 increase on ALL services. If you already have an existing appointment scheduled on or after April 1, you will be grandfathered in to our original price. However starting today, all appointments booked on or after April 1 will be subject to our new pricing. For those who live outside of our service area, please note that there may be an increase in your travel fee, or one added if there already hasn’t been. Our travel radius/set zip codes we service will remain the same, and we will still offer extended travel for services depending on your area.
