San Ignacio Lagoon is one of those places you need to visit to recognize its beauty: a remote place in Baja, where the wind is strong in the first quarter of the year, months when gray whales come to reproduce and have their calves in these calm waters, where the clarity allows us to see the whales and their calves approach our boats friendly before they reach the surface, to give us either a spy hop or much more: the most extraordinary interaction in the world!

Best Diving in Mexico: Socorro - Nautilus Adventures We have heard many times from our guests that the best diving in Mexico is in Socorro, and we agree! Find out why!
I have dived all over the world in the last 25 years. This dive trip in Socorro on the Nautilus Belle Amie has been one of my favorite liveaboard trips. My personal favorite dive experience was watching our guide, Juan David, gently communicate with an oceanic manta ray, while she paused to acknowledge him and responded to his communication, swimming in closer to him. A magical moment.
-Dora, England.
Don't miss the opportunity to experience close encounters with this magnificent marine life!

We had an amazing day at San Benedicto Island. Right after the check dive we went to the Boiler. The dives were amazing. Lots of Mantas around the dive site all day long. With some wonderful interaction. We had Galapagos sharks around on every dive, Hammerheads and even some guest saw a Tiger shark. But the highlight of the day must have been the Dolphins. We had a pod of Dolphins around on the third dive of the day. One of Dolphins was extremely interactive and stayed around over 40 minutes. As a cherry on the cake we had Humpback Whales breaching around the ship as well. Check out full blog: https://nautilusliveaboards.com/2024/03/12/diving-socorro-islands-mexico/

This dive trip in Socorro on the Nautilus Belle Amie has been one of my favorite liveaboard trips. Why? The diving has been superb. In the space of a few days, we have seen a huge variety of sharks: Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, oceanic black tips, white tip reef sharks, and hammerheads. We have dived with oceanic mantas and black mantas, dolphins, schooling hammerheads, huge schools of yellowfin tuna, and all kinds of crazy sea life!

We see a lot of interactive dolphins out here, and they are very playful and come close to play… but what happened on this dive at Punta Tosca, Socorro, blew my mind. The dolphins came close, played, and came even closer, just inches away, fixing us with their eyes and stopping to swim just in front of us. They went to see each and every diver; some gently bumped our shoulders with their noses… they did that with almost every diver.
