Although February is CTE Month, we celebrate the opportunities afforded to Carson City Schools CTE students today and everyday. CTE students are provided with valuable, relevant school to work experiences when community partners open their doors. We extend our gratitude to Charles River Laboratories! Veterinary Science students gained insight into career opportunities in veterinary science from our wonderful tour guides.

It’s a great day for Carson High CTE! Surrounded by students, teachers, distinguished guests and community partners, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak proclaimed February as CTE Month.

Congratulations to graduating senior Hannah Golik, who was named one of 680 semifinalists in the 2018 Presidential Scholars Program this year. That means she was in the top 12 percent of applicants! She will be attending UNR in the fall to study molecular biology and biochemistry

As we wrap up this school year we want to hear your thoughts. Our students and teachers have done such amazing and great things this year, what have been some of your favorite memories?

Finals are next week! We encourage you to use this weekend to gear up and prepare for them by studying and NOT procrastinating. Good luck, you're almost done!
