VagaBonds Yoga Therapy
Kamala hopes to help students integrate mind, body, and spirit, and give them the tools to thrive.
I have had some requests to start teaching again, and most recently been asked to host a yoga retreat. I’d love to hear from you. I have had a difficult spiritual journey the past few years, and I let teaching slip away from me. I lost a dear friend who had greatly impacted my teaching career and from there I felt almost disheartened by my practice. Looking back, I know that’s never what she would have wanted for me. I would like to serve again, and I am hoping you will have me back in the near future. Om shanti shanti shanti.

We Benefit by Service
Anything and everything could be done as Yoga. Always serve, serve, serve. Try to do service in everything, even on the road when you walk. If you see an obstacle on the road, just put it aside. Always wait to serve others, help others. We don't even say it is “helping.” It is serving because we benefit by service, because he or she has given you an opportunity to express your generosity. How were you able to donate or serve, if there was nobody to receive from you? That must be our attitude. That is why we don't even use the word “helping,” but rather “serving.” We always serve, serve. There's lot of difference between the labor and service. Labor means you expect something in return.
