Please share! Below are May Mobile Food Pantry distributions in New London County. Families will receive a box containing fresh produce, protein, nonperishables, and more. Families served on a first come-first served basis. No registration required. The full calendar of mobile distributions is online at www.uwsect.org/calendar NEW! Now their Mobile Health Hub will also be on-site with local social service agencies present to assist with other information, needs, and resources.

Shoreline Job Fair next Thursday, May 4 at the Westbrook Town Hall – 11:30AM – 2:30PM Employers are offering full-time jobs with free training available for some skilled good paying positions! Help us get the word out to our neighbors that need employment. Attendees should come dressed for an on-site interview and bring a resume or pre-register on the code on the flyer for help preparing a resume prior to coming. Registration is not required and walk-ins are welcome. See flyer for more details.

NEW WORKSHOP! Women & Family Life Center will host an eviction workshop on Thursday, February 16, at 6:00 at the Center's Carriage House with attorney Russell Brinn. The workshop is meant to guide participants through the eviction process. Topics will include but are not limited to the eviction court process, tenants’ rights, and court paperwork. This workshop is FREE and open to anyone who wants more information about eviction. It can be for yourself, a friend, a family member, or just to gain some knowledge to be able to help others.
