The HeSwa Children’s Ministry is collecting children's shoes of all sizes. Let us show our support for this cause by handing over our donations to the CMPs in your Circuits in time for the CMP Camp - details on the poster.
They will appreciate shoes that are new and/or used but in mint condition.

The District Executive
Successfully delivered two wheelchairs to the Vaal North Circuit (20/06/2024)
As planned during our 2023 Convention.
Fulfilling a promise made by the grace of God.

Additionally, a small donation of groceries was provided, bringing joy and gratitude to the two families.
Despite one beneficiary's absence, the Circuit Steward ensured the delivery was made to their home without any issues.

We extend our gratitude to the West Vaal Circuit for their support during the gift handover.

To the esteemed members of the Circuits who participated in the Annual District Imbizo hosted by the Germiston Circuit.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation for your attendance, acceptance of the invitation, and adherence to the day's theme "PUSH THE BRAND"

It is with great shock and a heavy heart to inform you of the passing away of the Rev Zakhele Shongwe who passed away in the early morning on Wednesday 5th June 2024. He was the Minister and the Superintendent of the Mkhondo Circuit - 1019.

The Memorial service will be held as follows:

Venue: Thandukukhanya Society (Mkhondo)

As Agents of Hope

We answered our call of duty to bring hope to the hopeless, inspire the despondent and spread God's unconditional love.

The District Bishop, Rev. Sondlile Nkwanyana and Ms. Noxolo Grootboom
Graced us with their presence as we visited Sister Mongikazi Gwiliza and the inmates housed at the Johannesburg Prison today.

During her sermon, the Bishop cited Matthew 25:35-36 and Ephesians 2:1-7, which emphasize Jesus as a friend to sinners. In the book of Luke, Jesus stated, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick," highlighting God's unconditional love for us all.
Ms. Noxolo Grootboom mentioned that it had always been a lifelong wish and dream of hers to visit the women's correctional center. She shared words of encouragement, reminding that even if the worst thing happens to you, the sun will shine again the next day.

We are at ease knowing that we left our Sister Mongikazi Gwiliza at peace and looking forward to the future with God by her side.

We find comfort in the knowledge that our Sister Mongikazi Gwiliza is at peace, embracing the future with God by her side. It is clear that she has unwaveringly held onto her faith in God, echoing the 2019 YWM District Convention Theme "God Is Enough" throughout her journey. Truly, He is more than sufficient, with His grace boundless and unconditional love.

Your gracious assistance is sought in uncovering the herald of the forthcoming pilgrimage to the prison.

In our preparations for this solemn journey, let us honor the esteemed presence of District CCS SisBahle, the District Executive, revered YWM members, esteemed guests, sisGwiliza, the incarcerated souls, and all souls intertwined in our heartfelt supplications. May our unity in presence and prayer sow seeds of love and hope in every heart 🙏

Yet, it grieves us to convey that the sacred gathering is bound by constraints, allowing only 15 souls to partake, including the District Executive and esteemed Speakers. We humbly seek forgiveness for any inconvenience this decree may bestow, recognizing the abundant yearning to partake in this shared pilgrimage🙏

Awareness is raised on the need to protect children against abuse, exploitation, neglect, and all forms of violence.

National Child Protection Week is commemorated in the country annually to raise awareness of the rights of children as articulated in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and Children's Act (Act No. 38 of 2005).
