Making SENse Creative
Making SENse Creative provides stimulating sensory activities to encourage and support creative communication
Making SENse Creative offers a unique service whereby we can do a range of creative sensory based activities including sensory art; table top gardening; sensory cooking; communication through touch; story-sharing and story massage. The provision is suitable for young adults with complex and profound disabilities; equally many of the activities are appropriate for individuals living with dementia.

Doesn’t nature offer the most beautiful colour palette? The flowers are looking fabulous at Lucy’s, Ardfern. Beautiful mixes of summer bedding; wildflowers; herbs and edibles.

We can't wait to see you over the holidays at our summer programme events! All events are free, include a drink, snack and a book, and (except for one outdoor adventure!) take place in Craigmillar Library Hub. A couple need to be booked in advance but for all the others you can just drop in on the day.

What more can an ASN assistant possibly need? On my last day of the summer term, a beautiful creative picture of Woody and Buzz Lightyear from one of the pupils. The summer holidays are here in Argyll already ☀️🕶️🌧️🌈
Loving the vibrations provided through an activity using a salad spinner. Experiencing it through touch via the mouth and the hands- seem to be just the ticket!
Within the spinner I placed a few glass marbles to create sound and movement in conjunction with the spinning of the container itself.

A lovely photograph popped up on my page!
A great celebration of Story Massage at their first conference way back in May 2019!!
