With 2023 now upon us, I have some exciting news to announce! ​​​​​​​​

Into the Aisle is being put on an extended hiatus and I will not be taking any wedding or engagement inquiries for the foreseeable future. While I am sad to see this season come to a close, I’m exciting for this next chapter! I’ve got some things in the works and will be making a big announcement before Spring!​​​​​​​​

Although this was a quieter year in our small household, it was still busy with so much to be grateful for, including:

1. Finishing my MBA 🎓
2. Moving back to Toronto and again being near the water which we missed so much 🌊
3. Multiple trips to Virginia and Quebec to visit family 💛

Although I don’t make traditional New Years resolutions (annual goals aren’t as helpful as quarterly ones!), I love reflecting back on the hard, sad, memorable, wonderful moments from the year and thinking about how the next year will be a continuation of God’s faithfulness, no matter what it brings ❤️

Although Christmas gifts have all been opened and Thanksgiving is long gone, there is still so much to be grateful for! We’re taking the next few days to reflect, plan, and prepare for a BIG change in the new year 📚🗓

Today I turn 29.

As I’ve gotten closer to 30, I hear people share how sad they are that they’re getting older. But for me, the last year has been crazy busy and absolutely wonderful. Some of you know that I’ve been completing an MBA in Waterloo while I’ve continued photographing weddings, some of which will be forever favourites. Well, this week Logan and I moved back to Toronto, and while it’s been a stressful transitional season, I have so so much to be grateful for. So turning 29 is something I’m happy about. It represents a year of learning many new wonderful things, hard work, and new friends.

But ultimately, I couldn’t have done the last year without Logan. While I was busy with photography and school, Logan was the one who did most of the cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and all the other errands I had no bandwidth for. So although this is my birthday and not my wedding anniversary, I want to celebrate Logan. Logan, every year with you has been better than the last, and this year in particular I’ve seen you sacrifice so much to give me this amazing gift. Thank you. I love you so much.
