CCL's Rachel Nielsen just attended the premiere for her latest film, Cash Storm, in which she plays the role of Margie. The comedy is about bank robbers who crash their getaway car in the path of a tornado and all the money gets sucked into a funnel cloud. Two scientists rescue the robbers along with a chatty influencer and embark on a comical odyssey.

CCL's Ryan Barnes just booked a co-starring role on a major show on a major network. Unfortunately we are not allowed to share more, but I must share with you that Ryan has worked non-stop for this role and has come very close several times. Ryan's auditions are some of the best I have ever seen. This man is a warrior! I am very proud of his work!

Here's the latest on the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) new deal with Studio's in Hollywood, etc acknowledging ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) as a tool in film/tv production with protections for crew members:

AI is officially recognized as a production tool, with some limitations

Personal AI setups can be charged as a kit rental, like any other gear

No one can be forced to use AI to replace coworkers

Consent required before AI scans crew (can't be mandatory)

Regular check-ins to keep AI use in check

AI training programs to help crew level up their skills

Studios can't outsource AI work to non-union folks

Employers retain the right to ban AI on their productions

Workers indemnified from liability when using approved AI

Existing severance policies cover AI-related job losses

Bottom line: While AI is here to stay in Hollywood, crew members have a voice in its implementation and some key protections.
