This Father's Day ~
amidst barbecues and celebrations...

Take time to reach out to a grieving dad ~ the guy who lost his son or daughter.

He may be strong...

But he still hurts.
He still remembers.
He still feels.
And he will always love.

It doesn't matter how long it has been since the death of his child, he will be missing him or her this weekend.

So make a call.

Or send a text.

Let him know you are thinking of him.

Let him know that he is not forgotten today or any day.

Let him know that he is loved.

The worst thing that you can say...
.. is nothing at all.

The Broken Ministry had the honor of donating a Caring Cradle to St. Francis-Emory Healthcare today. The Caring Cradle® commonly referred to as a "cooling unit" was invented in 2017. A Caring Cradle® gives grieving families the gift of time with their precious son or daughter. It gives families more time to hold their child, time to sing to them, time to get pictures, and more time to make the tough decisions about the burial or the funeral. We prayed over the staff as they care for grieving families. While we wish no one would ever need to use the Caring Cradle, we are thankful that St. Francis has it to use in the tragic event that a baby passes away. We would like to thank the many sponsors who made donations to the Broken Ministry for Light Up the Park 2022 and for our Through the Darkness Sparkler Lighting event. Our sponsors made this possible.
