Next Stop: This Saturday, Dalston Den Featured Driver: ohmydais We first started following Londoner ohmydais last year through her Threads Radio residency, and were instantly drawn to her genre-deriding style that reflects exactly what Drum Bus is about. Her moody brews of bass, electro and breaky flavours have earned her guest appearances for the likes of Lobster Theremin, Frazer Ray and Aes, and her periodic appearances on exclusive live streams run by Fold, Late Night Shopper, Percy Mingle and The Cause have seen her ascend to the upper echelons of selector stardom in the UK underground scene. Hereโs a small taste of Daisyโs fantastic HรR Berlin set - you can find the full link in our bio, alongside tickets๐ฅ๐๐จ๐จ
Next Stop: June 25th, Dalston Den Featured Driver: Van Wilkins We first heard about the talented Van Wilkins around a year ago through his release on Over and Out, โMan From Eastโ, and have been following ever since. His energetic productions โ accompanied by heavy influences from grime and other UK rap-based genres โ have earned him releases on ec2a, Outhouse Sounds, Gimme A Break Records and Taipan Trax, as well as support from the likes of Mall Grab, Kettama and Ansza. Van has also been making waves as a DJ, playing for the likes of 23 Degrees and Left Handed Events. Weโve attached a clip from his fantastic Keep Hush set from November last year to show you what heโs made of (link is also in our bio) ๐ฅ๐๐จ๐จ
Next Stop: June 25th Dalston Den Hereโs a little preview showcasing the production talent of Drivers Roaming Data and Van Wilkins, in the form of a live performance of a track named โNazarโ. The duo drew on influences such as Overmono, Floating Points and Kraftwerk to create an organic, ethereal track perfect for the club and home listening. A link to the full video โ featured on Hub Sessions โ is in our bio ๐ฅ๐๐จ
