Panera Bread is the latest restaurant chain to announce that they're removing ingredients to make their menu healthier. Panera Bread will be removing all artificial ingredients by 2016. This includes all additives, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, preservatives, as well as the high fructose corn syrup in their drinks. WOOT WOOT! Thank you, Panera Bread. But wait a sec! GMOs are artificial - they can't occur in nature and are created in the laboratories of chemical companies. On top of that, GMOs contain higher levels of synthetic pesticides. Your competitor, Chipotle, is giving GMOs the boot. Please add Roundup Ready, Bt toxic pesticide-producing GMOs to your list and remove them, too!
