It’s been a good year for travel!

It’s vacation time! Starting with a family dinner this afternoon. Looking forward to resting and heading up north to see my family there on January 1st! Let nesting commence.

On this sweet Solstice, I wish for you hope for the return of the warm days & joy in the delights that the darkest day brings ~ candles and twinkly lights, hot drinks and tasty treats, and the warmth of friendship and family time. Merry Yule!

I was thrilled to stop by and visit Sisters Sage at their brand new storefront location at 1312 Kingsway during their first day of being open!

It’s been many years since I’ve decorated a tree! This one is for the celebration of the Winter Solstice and the Yuletide Season. Dried orange slices represent the sun. Each ornament has significance and/or is a gift from someone special to us. I’m making my peace with the natural, earthly celebrations that were once tarnished with the ridiculousness of religion and consumerism. This is our tree, our celebration, our way.

Recovery day after the student recital.

Seeking a violin teacher who has wheels and wants to try house calls. Option to become a team member or remain independent. Currently just for 1 student in east Vancouver.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! By that I mean it’s my student recital on Saturday. I LOVE LOVE LOVE recital time 💗💗💗Getting everyone together for socializing and music sharing is my idea of a party! Plus, it gives me the opportunity to give a little gift from my heart to the folks who make my ideal career possible 🎶🎶🎶🎵🎤🎹🥁🎻🎺🎸

Home! Scotland was so beautiful, but there’s nothing like coming home and finding a beautiful autumn morning for a run in the sunshine. Happy to be back with my sweetheart, my house, my gardens and my amazing life here in Vancouver. I’m fighting with aero sinusitis today but hoping to be back at work soon, making music with my dear students. 🎶💗
