Someone once said, the best sustainable fashion is in your closet.
I couldn’t agree more. One of the reasons I paused creating content in 2020 was the sudden realization that I didn’t want to spend 💵any more.
It wouldn’t be authentic of me if I continusously pushed people to buy buy buy.
There’s nothing sustainable about retail therapy. 🤑
But I’ll tell you what is, this thrift find circa 2018 from buffaloexchange

If you’re still here, hello 👋🏾 we have some things to talk about. 🙂↕️
About 3 years ago, I was burnt out on life, there was a pandemic, 😷 I was growing apart from friendships, and my views on life and society were changing rapidly.
How can one create content 🎨🖼️ and not be consumed by social media?
I’m not the woman I was when I started My Brown Sparklez 12 years ago. I’ve matured, I’ve traveled, I’ve lived.
There are some things that you learn that are more important than getting the perfect angle 📐 for that photo. 📸
Still, god has pulled me back to My Brown Sparklez ✨ because, the work isn’t finished ✅ (is it ever really?)
So I guess what I’m trying to say, is you’re going to be seeing more of me. Thank you 🙏🏾 for being here. And I’ll catch you up 🆙 on what’s changed in my life.
Until next post ❤️
Well I think 🤔 this desk job has caught up to me 😳. It’s been such a challenge to lose 10 Lbs.
You might be thinking, you aren’t overweight. No, but I’ve gained 10 lbs. in two years and it’s not muscle 💪🏾 weight. Plus, my clothes don’t fit the same (I’m not trying to buy a whole new wardrobe).
But, I’ve lost 4 lbs in a week 😀 from fasting.
As I get older, I realize I need to shock my system to get results.
Our bodies are naturally resistant to losing weight as a survival mechanism.
Have any of you ever used fasting as a weightloss method?

Here’s to putting the ☀️ in Sun ☀️ Day. (Keep Reading 👇🏾
Do I always wear sunscreen on my body? No. But I always wear it in my face. 😀
The amount of skin treatments you use can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Too much UVA/UVB can cause your skin to produce more melanin.
This can lead to over production (dark spots) in damaged or highly sensitive areas of your face.
In the summer, my go to is a good 👍🏾 (reef 🪸 safe if I’m at the beach 🏖️),water resistant, SPF 50 formula sunscreen 🧴.
I’ve linked a few in my bio if you need a few recommendations.
One of the best sets I’ve ever done. 🤩 Barbie Pink for summer ☀️
I tried my hand at pressing flowers. 💐 It didn’t go so well. 🙁 But these photos are pretty 🤩.
Absolutely loving 🥰 this romper I found at pop-up at yesterday! .
Just the pop of color my wardrobe needed! 👌🏾
Me and CoCo Bean 🫘 Aleem , she’s finally getting house trained. One 1️⃣ more shot and she can go to the park and meet other pooches 🐾
