Gave my bedroom a little makeover! All the gray in my apartment was getting boring after 2 years and I LOVE purple!!

This tree was blown over by high winds a couple weeks ago. We walked by the other day and LOOK it is still blooming!! Further proof for us all that we can thrive, even when knocked down 💜

I totally forgot to post the rest of Gnome Biggie’s time in NOLA! He had some White Claw and gumbo (delicious, btw) and then took a nap in my purse!

Enjoying the GLORIOUS weather today! Getting ready for Halloween party number one and drinking my with some to get the party started. Also got these lovely flowers from a work party the other night and they are still alive!

When you come home from an almost 12 hour shift and find that your have given you their covered parking spot, just cause they are amazing! Day. Made.

Went to my first Pilates class in two YEARS!! Man I missed it, but maaaan am I gonna feel it tomorrow. And Wednesday. And Thursday……. So since I finally exercised other than walking I decided to get a salad for lunch. Holy cow, Cava is my new go to!! So delicious! 😋

This teeny toad was just sitting there, staring at the curb. I couldn’t tell if that is a bug staring back at it and didn’t want to move too close. My neighbor said it was meditating 😂

When you finish a book, how quickly do you start another? I finished the one of the left last night(I was also reading another book the whole time) and this morning I’m starting the Tina Fey one……..

Once I decide my hair is too long and annoying, I MUST get it cut. Text my lady on Wednesday, she got me in on Thursday! Boom!

Everyone should have a friend like ! We hung out to celebrate my 2 years in Houston and she gifted me a new Fitbit AND made my favorite cookies! Love my so much!! 💜💜

My sous chef struck again!! I ordered a side salad, chicken breast, and bacon strips. He asked if I wanted it all together, I said “sure, you wanna chop up the bacon too?”. He did. I think I love this married man 😂😂

When your sous chef knows the way to your heart. I ate about one piece of everything before I got so busy I couldn’t even finish it 😭😂. It was delicious cold too lol!

Late night neighborhood walk with my last night. We think this butterfly had just come out of its cocoon cause once we helped it back up it flew so beautifully!!
