This smoothie may look simple, but it is packed with ingredients to help balance hormones and support PMS type symptoms naturally. Enjoy this smoothie anytime of the month, but especially during the days or week you feel you need it most!

Ingredients:

* 1 frozen organic banana

* 1 Tbsp chia seeds

* 1 Tbsp cacao nibs

* Juice from one orange

* 3 drops Orange Vitality Essential Oil

* 2 drops EndoFlex Vitality Essential Oil Blend

* 1-3 tsp organic coconut oil (optional)

* 1 cup organic spinach

* 1/4 cup dry, unsalted and unroasted almonds*

* 1/4 cup unsweetened yogurt of choice

* 2/3 cup unsweetened milk of choice OR water

* 5-7 Ice cubes (optional)

*Ideally almonds are soaked overnight

Add ingredients to a blender in the order listed and blend well. Top with a sprinkle of dried coconut, chia seeds or sliced almonds. Enjoy!

Acetaminophen (paracetamol) is the the number one cause of acute liver failure in the USA and UK. Curcumin, a major bioactive compound in turmeric herb, is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, which helps protect tissues and organs.

Recently, researchers evaluated the activity of curcumin and rosemary CT 1,8-cineole essential oil alone and in combination in a preclinical model of acute liver injury caused by acetaminophen. What the researchers found was that ingesting rosemary EO with curcumin not only increased the bioavailability of curcumin, it produced a synergistic activity that protected the liver better than either natural product alone.

DRY BRUSHING

The lymphatic system is directly connected to your immune system and is a major support to your liver. Your liver produces the most amount of lymph in your body. The job of lymph is to rid the body of toxic waste and transport immune supporting white blood cells throughout the body.

The lymphatic system is stimulated by movement. If you have swelling in your fingers, cold hands and feet, brain fog, bloating, chronic fatigue, depression, and a feeling of stiffness or soreness when you wake in the morning, you may have a sluggish lymphatic or clogged immune system. Make sure you give your lymphatic system all the support it needs by using the right supplements, exercising, using lymphatic drainage techniques, and drinking plenty of water.

Use lymphatic dry brushing with essential oils once per day using a dry soft-bristle brush to stroke your entire body toward your heart.

How to Dry Brush:

Before showering, use a natural soft bristle paddle brush. Add several drops of the “Lymphatic Dry Brushing” recipe to your hand (see recipe below). Rub the oils onto the ends of the bristles. Brush your entire body starting at your ankles. Do 3-4 long strokes up toward your torso. All body parts should be brushed toward your heart. When you do your arms, brush up toward you rather than away from you. Brush your whole body. This sloughs off the dead skin cells, which stimulates your lymphatic system as it starts the process of cleaning up and regenerating. Once finished with your whole body hop in a very warm to hot shower.

Lymphatic Dry Brushing Recipe:

Use a 15ml dropper bottle and add the following oils:

• 10 drops Rosemary

• 10 drops Copaiba

• 10 drops Grapefruit

• 5 drops Lemongrass

• 5 drops Peppermint

• 5 drops Lavender

• 5 drops Lime

Swirl the bottle to blend the essential oils well.
Wait 24 hours for the oils to synergize and then top off with organic Jojoba carrier oil or carrier of choice.

TOXIC OVERLOAD

Not everything we have always been told that is "good" for us really is. For example, OTC vitamins created within labs are synthetically made and cause toxins to build within our system, which can end up causing more harm than good. Only vitamins created within whole foods will have all of their co-agents in order for them to have optimal absorption within our systems.
It’s also important to know where our food comes from. What may be considered "healthy" can be laden with chemicals and preservatives. Some of these toxins that we take in do not leave our system because our body doesn't identify them as part of our functioning processing due to the fact that they are not naturally sourced. Because they are not recognized, our body doesn't know what to do with them. When our body doesn't know what to do, our liver stores them in tissues to keep them from circulating in our blood, inevitably causing damage.
Our body eliminates toxins through our colon, skin, liver, and kidneys. If you or anyone you know deals with skin issues, it’s likely rooted in a digestive system not functioning properly. The toxins are then pushed out of the skin, ouch.
Here are some overall factors that cause our organs to malfunction are:

Personal care products
Poor air quality
How we cleanse
Lack of rest
Lack of exercise
Negative thoughts
Negative emotions

WHY CLEANSE?

Why cleanse and what does cleansing really mean?
On a daily, we take in many environmental "toxins" through the air we breathe, what we put on our skin, but especially in what we constantly put in our mouth through our food. Let's face it, we stay busy. Busy schedules make it challenging to take our time to cook and read labels. Even when we do our best, there are times we “fall off the wagon". For those times, that's when we can "cleanse" the junk out.
It's unfortunate that we sometimes trade our health for convenience, so to make up for it, we can flush it all out to get back on track! Our Standard American Diet, including flour, salt, and sugars, can cause our digestive tract to become clogged and when we have a clogged/sluggish tract, we're not absorbing nutrients even if we're "eating healthy”.
Think of your younger school years and all the papier-mâché crafts you would make. The glue we created was from mixing flour and water. Woah, think about that for a second! What happens when flour mixes with the mucus in our gut? That’s right, it can form a thick, concrete like plaque! This is a big reason we cleanse!

SAY NO to Synthetic Fragrance - Scented Room Fragrances
The first thing you should consider after starting your journey with all-natural, genuine essential oils is to “SAY NO to Synthetic Fragrances”. As a chemist I know where to find them.

I know that lots of people “love” scented products. Scented candles, scented perfumes, scented shampoos, and scented laundry detergents to name a few. They ALL (and I reiterate ALL) contain synthetic fragrances. About 85% of the world population love fragranced products.

The other 15% prefer no Synthetic Fragrance. That is why companies now make “unscented products” for their customers. That’s where you need to go - towards UNSCENTED PRODUCTS.

People always ask me WHY synthetic fragrances are BAD. I tell them, “it’s not the main fragrance, it’s the synthetic by-products that come with every synthetic fragrance.

Every chemical reaction produces by-products. There are 3 different levels of the synthetic by-products in every synthetic fragrance - 1%, 5% and 10%+. These by-products are the CULPRIT.

Synthetic by-products are toxic, carcinogenic, allergens, and harmful. USA law does not require companies to list the names of synthetic fragrances in scented products. YES you heard me right. All they have to list is the word “Fragrance” on the label. Since they don’t list each synthetic fragrance by name, then they don’t need to identify the HARMFUL SYNTHETIC BY-PRODUCTS.

So, let’s start by you SAYING NO to commercial Room & Car air fresheners:

Say No to Scented Candles
Say No to Scented Wax Melts
Say No to Fragrance Wax Warmers
Say No to Scented Room Plug-ins
Say No to Fragrance hangers on cars
Say No to Scented Room Sprays

GET rid of them. Throw them in the trash. Don’t give them to anyone you love.

The number of people worldwide with gallstones is growing. Eating healthy fats, lean proteins, and more fiber can reduce the risk of gallstones; whereas, fried foods, trans-fats, hydrogenated oils, dairy products, sugar, and refined carbohydrates may contribute their development.

Methyl tertbutyl ether (MTBE) is used to dissolve (litholytic activity) cholesterol gallstones. Researchers compared the ability of citrus essential oils—clementine, bitter orange, sweet orange, and grapefruit, and their main constituents, to dissolve gallstones against MTBE in a laboratory study. All citrus oils deteriorated the gallstones, with sweet orange demonstrating remarkable litholytic activity after one day. Sweet orange reached a dissolution capacity of 95.8%, followed by clementine 94.8%, and bitter orange 93.0%, all of which were more effective than MTBE. Grapefruit was less effective than MBTE and other oils at 87.7% dissolution capacity. Isolated limonene and linalool also showed good litholytic activity, exceeding that of MTBE. Taken together, the research suggests that citrus essential oils may be an effective natural solution for cholesterol gallstones.
