My name is Javan Chow and I am a closet artist that details shoes. You bring me the shoes and design ideas, we work out a price, and I will paint them.
I have been doing art since I was a child and have recently started to design and paint shoes. I love it and would like to share it with others by putting their vision to canvas on their shoes. I paint the shoes in an Acrylic based paint and then spray them with a water proofing fixative for the finish. The waterproofing is a sealant for the paint, remember these are still canvas shoes so wear acc
ordingly in different weather. You are always free to contact me. The process would work as follows:
1. You would bring me your shoes in your size. Now the shoes need to be canvas material. For example Toms, Converse, Vans, and such shoes like those are what I can paint. Any shoes that are not of that kind of material the paint will dry and chip off.
2. We would meet and discuss the designs that you would like and then we would draw up a plan for how I would proceed to paint.
3. The cost of the shoes would depend on the time and supplies that I would need to purchase for the painting, but I can estimate the price being from $30-$50 depending on design.
4. As I paint I would update you on progress and ask questions so that the end product is exactly what you want.
