About me: I'm 37, married to my best friend for 9 years, a mom of 3 awesome kids ages 8 1/2, 7 & 5 1/2. I've had 1 natural birth and 2 c-sections. I struggled and have suffered with Endometriosis since I was a teen and have had numerous surgeries for it. In my younger days I never struggled with my weight. I WAS the girl that could eat 4 Big Macs without a care in the world. Then 1st pregnancy cam
e, I had that same mentality. Gained about 80#, lost some of it but nowhere near what I should have. Pregnancy 2 came 13 months later and I added another 30#. Pregnancy 3 came 6 months later and I added more pounds. I never lost the weight that I had previously gained from my first so by that time I was 85# heavier than I was ever use to. In summer of 2013 I think I hit my bottom and I was fed up with how I have let my health go. I had a hard time keeping up with my kids. I decided to get my life back so I can be around for my kids and have the energy to play with them. I was pre-diabetic (was told that I was going to have to start insulin if I didn't get it under control), had high cholesterol and my blood pressure was becoming elevated. I decided then I was going to stop the over the counter weight loss pills (that NEVER even worked for me) and do something to regain my life back. I started doing T25 and drinking Shakeology and lost 20 lbs in 5 weeks!! Everything else I tried NEVER worked. Who would have thought exercising and eating good food for you would make you lose weight on top of gaining energy?...LOL... I was (and still am sometimes) a chocoholic!! My vegan chocolate Shakeology has tremendously cut my sweet tooth cravings to almost none. I mean let's be honest, there's those few days a month that my mind just craves it to make my hormones happy. But I don't drown myself like I use to (Thank goodness). I then started 21Day Fix in March/April of 2014 and lost another 20#!! I have maintained my weight loss, give or take a couple of pounds but now I'm ready to take my health and fitness to another level. I just completed 21 Day Fix Extreme 3/16/15 and lost a total of 11.25". I still need help, motivation and support just like everyone else. Becoming a Beachbody coach has helped me stay accountable on my health journey along with helping other start theirs too.
