My host was very gracious of my bad behaviour.

But really. What I took from that day was how much my friend Tom loved his wife and kids. It was beaming out of him. He was so proud to introduce me to them at their home. It was beautiful to see.

Honestly, fu***ng heart breaking.
I just heard my mate Tom passed away yesterdsy. We hadn’t chatted in a bit, but back in the day we would chat a lot. We did an amazing tour of Brazil together and became good friends. He remixed us, we remixed him, we were even the representatives of ‘England’ on his label, Great Stuff Olympics compilation. One time he bought me over to Munich to play at his Oktoberfest party he did every year and I met his wife and young family… a good man. He adored his wife and kids. RIP Tomcraft.

It’s my birthday. This is me in Siberia about 12 years ago on my birthday. I always used to take gigs on my birthday. It was fun and I got drunk. I’ve grown up a little bit (and I mean a little bit 🤏) since then. But the party animal inside me is still there hahaha.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.

It’s always a bit of a funny one for me honestly. My dad was not a bad man by any stretch of the imagination.. a lot of the time he was a very good man…but he had demons… that ended up consuming him. I have fought those same demons in one form or another for most of my own adult life. He was not a lot older than I am right now when he left. I miss him I think. But I mostly just miss having a dad or anyone I can rely on and have as my back up. I pretty much forgotten what it’s like to have a dad. So honestly I could just be romanticising it in my head. Haha. (Sounds like me) even when he was alive we didn’t have a normal father/son relationship TBH. I am very grateful me and my sister had our beautiful mum for another 20 years after my dad transitioned. I do miss my mum. Like fu***ng crazy. Every day.

Anyway. Allow my ramblings. All I’m really saying is. If you have your dad and you are willing to, give him a fu***ng big hug and tell him you love him. Do the same to your mum even if it’s dads day. Our parents are human, just like us. They make mistakes just like like us. They are just as confused by life and all its twists and turns. And sometimes, just like us they find it hard to handle.

This is the last time we did a ‘Terry Hooligan and Friends’ event. It was an online festival across 3 days back in 2021. I still can’t believe I pulled this global line up together. Mad really. My closest estimate was we raised about 4K for UK food bank, DKMS blood cancer charity and the Cystic Fibrosis trust.

To say we are upping our game when it comes to these summer workshops is an understatement.

We all love the DJ workshops. This year has smacked it so far. My and have seen 100’s of budding new DJ’s pass through so far. And don’t worry… we will return to the classic format. But… we have something special planned this summer.
