Who today completed her 300 hours in placement with us. She came to us last year during her Professional Cookery College course needing to gain experience in order to complete her level 2. She is hardworking, a fast learner and shows a lot of promise in her goal to become a Pastry Chef.
Megan is hoping to go on to start her level 3 in Professional Cookery and we are very happy to say she intends to stay with us while she does.
Well Done Megan, we cant wait to see what dish you will perfect next (and also which colour you will change your hair too 😉).

Christmas party for 100 of town's 'older folks' 100 of Chatteris' "older folks" enjoyed bingo, food and live music at a Christmas party organised by the town and district council.

The Alma Mater Ladies Supper is in full swing this evening - fine food, fine wine and fine company. Thank you Housdens Outside Catering for such great service and such great pictures!

Charlie came to us from Cromwell Community College and has worked his way through every module from the College of West Anglia with determination and hard work.

The Rotary Club of Brandon & District celebrated 46 years of supporting the local community by holding our Charter Night dinner at the Royal British Legion Brandon Club on Thursday the 12th of August.

We were delighted to be joined by District Governor Ian Elliott and past and present members from several local Rotary Clubs, as well as Club members and their partners and guests.

Many thanks to Housdens Outside Catering for the excellent catering and to Karen Lavender at the British Legion club for looking after us all so well on such a busy night.

Our next community event will be our Fireworks and Bonfire event on Saturday November the 6th.

We here at Housdens are very grateful to all of those that have supported us over the past year.
We can not thank our loyal customers and friends enough.
Petrou Brothers, Several Masonic groups and our faithful Sunday Dinner customers to name a few.

So we would like offer the opportunity for 3 local budding chefs to join our team as Apprentices. We have successfully trained 2 previous apprentices, one of which is still within our team.
A midweek cleaner is also needed 2 hours a day Monday-Friday.

We are also looking for a Full Time Chef (experience necessary) and several Waiters or Waitresses (training offered).

We offer seasonal posts (September-May), with optional summer work available. Successful Applicants will begin training in late August, Early September.

Applicants MUST be willing to work Friday and/or Saturday evenings as well as evenings throughout the week.

Based in Chatteris, your own transport is preferred - but not always essential.
