This quote speaks to me since many of my first graders are coming to me not understanding what a rhyme is. The ones that do know are my best readers. So parents, please keep repeating "Itsy-Bitsy Spider", "Little Miss Muffet", and "Hickory Dickory Dock" even when you're sick of them...it will pay off in the end.
