The Leaders, kitchen staff and Sparkers would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family of Elizabeth McCafferty. Elizabeth was one of spark’s greatest supporters. She could be found on the bouncy castle, jivving at the disco, practising dance moves and cooking and serving meals with a smile for everyone. Her laugh was infectious and she was so much fun! We will never forget her years of support and service to Spark. She will be missed by all of us.
Romans 14:8
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Hi everyone, I hope you have all been able to get info on Monday from the email sent out. It’s a 10am start and please bring your dozen traybakes if you can!
Also we’re hoping for good weather but please be prepared with a waterproof coat. We also ask that everyone brings a water bottle. They will be able to fill this up in the kitchen and juice will be provided.
Hi everyone, the spark schedule was sent out on Sunday via email, if you haven’t received this can you please contact me and I will forward it to you!
Follow us on TikTok and on instagram to see what we get up to!
We’ve had a great response this year and a lot of the places have gone. If anyone is interested in getting a place please message.

The spark service will be in St Paul’s Garvagh tomorrow at 11am (meet in the hall at 10:45) we would love as many as you out in your T-shirts as possible so the congregation can find out what you’ve been up to.
The spark video will be shown then too!
Please remember to wear an old T-shirt tomorrow and bring a change of clothes for the colour war!
Hope you all had a great day today!
On Wednesday we are intending to have our colour war. Please bring old clothes to wear for this. You will need something to change into! At least a clean T-shirt is needed!!
Looking forward to a good day ahead! We will possibly be doing some more painting today so please be mindful and wear old clothes or spark T-shirts for this as you don’t want to get anything ruined!
A waterproof coat might be a good shout today again!
Remember, be the salt and the light.
See you at 10am!
Remember all meals will be served at spark today so you don’t need to bring anything other than a water bottle or drink if you wish.
Think about the weather and bring a coat!
We will be doing some outdoor jobs today so please wear old clothes!
£10 for the week and if you haven’t signed a consent form yet we have some in the hall!
Please be mindful of the weather this week. A waterproof coat is normally a good idea!
Also if anyone is displaying any covid symptoms please do not attend until you test (lateral flows are available from the chemist if you are experiencing symptoms) and have a negative result.
Hoping and praying for a wonderful week ahead!
Times for next week are as follows:
Monday and Wednesday 10am-5:30/6pm (to accommodate parents travelling home from work)
Tue & Thursday 10am-9pm
Friday 10am-5pm
If anyone needs more flexibility please contact me. There is usually someone there early and we will be there later cleaning so we can make the times work for you.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided every day except Friday when spark will be ending before dinner time.
A change of clothes is good to bring and please wear old clothes. We will be painting, gardening etc and we don’t want anyone getting their clothes ruined.
Please message if you have any further questions.
Please can anyone who hasn’t responded about T-shirt sizes let me know asap as these are being ordered this week!
I have emailed consent forms so if you have not received these please check your junk email folder!
Thanks!
If anyone is interested, please let us know so we can get you on the list!
For those of you who love it when we visit the care home!

As part of 'Loneliness Awareness Week' 𝒞𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝐵𝓎, 𝒦𝒶𝓉𝒽𝓁𝑒𝑒𝓃 are launching our 𝔸𝕕𝕠𝕡𝕥 𝔸 𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕥 campaign.
We have taken inspiration from the 'CHDLiving' Group who first launched thier similar campaign back in 2020 and we feel those in Northern Ireland would greatly benefit from this.
We are encouraging those who love to chat, to befriend an elderly individual in our community suffering from loneliness by sending them a letter.
If you can spare a few minutes to write and become someones pen pal, or if you know of someone who is sufferning from loneliness, visit us online to read the important information and find the designated address to send the letters too!
Thank you for getting involved 😊
