We heard from Islamic groups, Social media e-rats, even our white-haired professor. They all demanded explanations. Now we have a True confession of an unpardonable sin and the loud-mouthed human imps on social media & our bigoted intellectuals are being careful and civil with their condemnation. El Rufai just told you what we’ve known for years. He’s not lying. But what can you do when the Christian Association of Nobody (CAN) is already defending him. Labour Party chieftain, Professor Pat Utomi, does not think the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is for the good of Nigeria, describing it as one that reeks of desperation and a danger to Nigeria’s democracy.

Utomi stated this on Monday during an appearance on a programme, Politics Today, on Channels Television.

The political economist asserted that Tinubu’s desperate ambition to become president is injurious to Nigeria’s democracy and must be resisted.

Utomi pointed out that the ‘emilokan’ slogan of the APC presidential candidate is dangerous and reeks of selfishness, saying that the 2023 presidency is about Nigerians and not an individual.

‘Emilokan’ is Yorùbá for ‘I am next.’

“I don’t think the ambition of Tinubu is for the good of Nigeria,” said Utomi. “If I was his age, I wouldn’t be seeking political office. Certain things are good for certain times. Why is it his turn? What about other people in Nigeria?

“If there is any ‘emilokan,’ that is wrong, it is the Emilokan of Emilokan because of Ko’kan (Not his turn).

“Our country has suffered so much from having ailing leaders and that was why the vice president stepped up because he thought there was a challenge to that principle and direction.”

Utomi had in recent times dared Tinubu to go for a medical check-up and make the results public. In his opinion, the former governor of Lagos State is unfit to be president.

While insisting that there are signs to show Tinubu is unfit for the post of president, Utomi said: “Physically, you can see he is ailing. Let’s not kid ourselves. Let’s be honest.”

Utomi refuted claims by the APC that Tinubu is fit, stating that “American presidents go through medicals. Let him go through medicals with Nigerian doctors and make it (result) public.”

On why he wants the former Lagos State governor to go for a medical test, the Labour Party chieftain said the 2023 election and who leads the country is about “the lives of millions of people”.

Nigeria will rejoice, no man can stop God – Kumuyi prophesies

The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said only God will determine Nigeria’ next president in 2023.

The respected cleric also said Nigerians will rejoice at the end of the election.

Kumuyi stated this on Wednesday at the palace of Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, when he visited the monarch, Oba Victor Kiladejo.

“Would there be an election next year? would there not be an election? Who will emerge as the president of our country? Who will come out as governor of each of the states? Known unto God before the beginning of time and what we want in answer to the problem of contentious people in our land. What He wants will come true. When a lion is coming, no rat stands in his way and says you can’t pass.

“When the Almighty says this is what it is, for Nigeria in particular, for 2023 in particular, no elephant of a man can stand in its way. God’s will will be done and we will all rejoice,” Kumuyi said.

Former Military Chiefs, Buratai, Abubakar To Appear Before International Criminal Court Over Alleged Human Rights Abuses, Extra-Judicial Killings Compiled In 500-page Document

A former Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai (retd) and his Nigerian Air Force counterpart, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar (retd) will soon face criminal charges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) over alleged human rights abuses and extra-judicial killings during their time as security chiefs.

According to a civic group, the Africa Centre for Human Rights, an extensive investigation has been carried out on the two former military chiefs and the centre has gathered sufficient evidence in a 500-page document to indict the former service chiefs at the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands.

The five years, six months-tenure of Buratai and Abubakar was allegedly characterised by rights abuses and extrajudicial killings of Nigerians by soldiers.

Speaking for the African centre, Dr. Ifure Atafure catalogued on Tuesday the alleged atrocities under the two former service chiefs which would be tendered at the ICC.

In 2015, Buratai allegedly ordered the army to kill over 500 defenceless Shiites on the ground that they “touched a General’s chest.”
The incident which was tagged the ‘Zaria Massacre’ has further worsened the insecurity situation in the country.

He is also believed to have ordered the October 20, 2020 shooting of innocent civilians who were protesting at the Lekki Toll Gate and sanctioned the extrajudicial massacres in Oyigbo, an Igbo settlement in Rivers State.

The soldiers and officers involved in the killings were never prosecuted or punished, an indication the atrocities were committed with the approval of the army leadership, the group said.

Atafure said, “Meanwhile, civilian fatalities from airstrikes in conflict areas across Nigeria were a recurring dilemma under Abubakar. In April 2020, at least 17 people, mostly women and their children playing under mango trees were

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE BIAFRA SPOKESPERSON 5/08/2022

The Indigenous People Of Biafra [IPOB]

▪️ULTIMATIUM TO THE NIGERIAN SOLDIERS WHO ARE IN ACCOMPLICE ON THE ONGOING TERRORISTS UPSURGE IN BIAFRALAND TO LEAVE.

We, the Indigenous People Of Biafra wish to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the Media houses, the international community, people of good conscience and the people of the free world towards the continuous cruelty and barbaric acts of the men of the Nigerian Army and their terrorists accomplices in our land.

We cannot take it anymore and we are finally giving them a 10 days ultimatium to leave our land peacefully or we exercise 'an offensive treatment' against them.

The Nigerian Government has continued to deploy more soldiers, Armouries to kill innocent civilians and unarmed Biafra Agitators.

Recall that the Nigerian terrorist re-integrated Army had killed over 100 innocent youths of Ogbaru in Anambra State a few weeks a go and it was swept under the carpet. They have also killed thousands of innocent Biafran youths openly and silently, and nobody was ever questioned or held accountable for it.

Many silent killings and massacre of our youths in Imo State and other parts of Biafraland still ongoing and nobody is speaking against it.

We are human beings with blood in our veins. We shall begin to combat them, if after a 10 days time, and they don't leave the streets of Biafraland.

We all know that ongoing incessant killings in the South-East would have been worse had it been our dearest leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu never set up Eastern Security Network (ESN)...

Most of our communities/villages could have been sacked and taken over by those marauding foot Fulani soldiers from Sahel nicknamed 'Bandits and 'Armed Herders'.

If not for ESN, South-East would have had many IDP camps..

But ESN (Eastern Security Network) came in and halted their hegemonic/genocidal plans because the Eastern Leaders are all incapacitated in the hands of the Fulani Caliphate. They couldn't do anything to secure our people when they were needed most...

Most of our bushes are now free from those AK-47 wielding and blood lusting villains from FUTA JALON....

So, because they can no longer operate from most of our bushes/farmlands, they are now operating upland on another callous identity known as the; "Unknown Gunmen Herders in Millitary uniforms, Nigeria police and soldiers".

As they perpetrate so many kinds of evil in our land against our people disguising as: 'Unknown Gunmen, Bandits, Kidnappers and so on, the well terrorist infiltrated Nigerian Soldiers goes on rampage in killing innocent civilians, ransacking villages and burning down innocent people's homes. All targeted at ethnic cleansing of the Biafran People.

The past killings and beheadings especially the unclear stories of those two military couples, the lawmaker and the killing of a woman and her kids, it all depicts exactly the modus operandi of those vicious demons....

Biafrans ain't no saints but when it comes to taking someone's life in a very gruesome manner as we have been witnessing lately, Igbo man or woman can never perpetrate such evil. Biafran people don't spill innocent blood....

Again, remember that Garba Shehu threatened that the unfair trial of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will mark the end of IPOB's agitation for Biafra restoration. What we are witnessing lately in our land could be connected to his threat...

Self-determination is not a crime, neither is self defense. We are now determined to defend our people ruthlessly and secure our land from these people that strongly believe in divide, conquer and occupy.

We are therefore giving the Nigerian Government from now till the 15th of this month of July, 2022 to withdraw all their state sponsored Bandits/Terrorists, Millitary troops that are causing mayhems in our land.

Because of the non-stop upsurge of these terrorists in Biafraland, we are now embarking on 'offensive operation' to combat them and we are never going back on our words.

Thousands of arrested Boko Haram members that were alleged to have been repented, are reinstated into the Nigerian Army because they're from the Fulani tribe, while thousands of innocent Biafrans are killed unjustly for wanting to separate themselves from Nigeria peacefully.

These evil Nigerian Soldiers and Policemen cannot withstand the numerous terrorists ravaging the whole North. But, they are in the East killing innocent villagers and burning down homes, all in a bid to stop the Biafra agitators by all means.

We have crossed the Rubicon. We cannot be stopped anymore. 15th of August, 2022 (10 days time from now) is the end of this ultimatum we are giving and we shall combat them out of our land offensively.

Our offensive is targeted at terrorists; both the ones in our bushes and the ones in Millitary uniforms, with their collaborators in our land. BEWARE !

Signed: Ekpa Simon Njoku [ESN]

The Americans killed Osama Bin Ladin, AbuBakr Al Baghdadi and now Ayman Al Zawahiri. Kudos!

In Nigeria we do not kill terrorists: we beg them, pay them, appease them, reward them, bow before them, give them chieftaincy titles and let them break into prison to free their terrorist brothers.

I'm afraid insecurity may soon consume Nigeria —Sultan predicts

“insecurity is a serious issue that is facing us now in Nigeria. It has touched everybody irrespective of location in the country. Just three days ago (Wednesday) 20 innocent persons were drowned in Sokoto community while running away from bandits. Unfortunately, many of these killings are unreported nor documented.

“The fact that we have been talking about this insecurity should be enough fact for all of us to wake up and take action either individually or collectively. We need to come together and face these enemies that have decided to unleashed terror on our people. If not, this insecurity will consume all of us in no distant time, because we have chosen to sit and blame one another instead of taking steps and actions that would tame the menace. Blame game will never help anybody.

“The earlier we know the truth about this insecurity issues, the better for us. Poverty and unemployment are some of the big factors that had fueled this. There are thousands of youths who are hanging around doing nothing, hence they had become tools in the hands of evil people.

“As religious leaders, we have a lot to do and we would do our best to help government tackle these issues. Campaign would soon start ahead of 2023 general elections, we need to hold political office seekers to account. They should explain to us their plans and agenda for the masses. Nigeria is to much and great to be held down by some set to people who have and making unrealistic demand.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has rained curses on kidnappers, terrorists and their sponsors.

The 80-year-old cleric who spoke during his sermon at the ongoing Holy Communion Service for the month of July, said criminal groups terrorising churches and Nigeria will know no peace.

“As the Lord lives, every evil plot against the church of the Lord will be consumed by fire in the name of Jesus. From now every kidnapper, terrorists including their sponsors will never experience rest again,” said Adeboye.

“From now on in the name that is above every other name, every kidnapper, every terrorist, all their supporters will never be able to rest again.

“The blood running in their vein will turn to fire, the air they breathe will turn to fire, the ground they step will turn to fire, the bed they sleep upon will turn to fire, when they wake up, they will be waking in fire, when they sleep, they will be dreaming fire.”

He added: “As long as Jesus lives, as long as the name of God I serve is the consuming fire, every evil plot against the church of God, the fire of God will consume them.”

OUR FULANI KIDNAPPERS KEPT THEIR COWS CLOSE TO US AND IN THE VICINITY OF SOLDIERS
-Dr Samuel Kalu Uche
Prelate, Methodist Church, Nigeria

The Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, His Eminence, Samuel Kanu-Uche, who was abducted by hoodlums in Abia State, has said N100m was paid by the Church to secure his freedom.

The cleric, who spoke during a press briefing in Lagos on Tuesday, said the kidnappers showed him decomposing bodies of some past victims.

Kanu-Uche was abducted on Sunday along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway in the Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.

He was taken together with his chaplain, Very Rev. Abidemi Sh*ttu, and the Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Dennis Mark.

The prelate said his team was going to the airport when they were attacked.

He said, “In order to catch up with my flight at 4pm, we took off by 2pm to go to the airport, oblivious of the fact that kidnappers were waiting on the road.

“As we were descending to Ileru in Abia State, they came out from the bush and divided themselves into three groups.

“Some were at the back, some at the centre. Then there was another group in front to make sure we did not run away. They fired shots at our vehicle and eventually abducted three of us. The communication man of the church and the driver escaped.

“They took us into the bush and tortured us. In the process of the torture, I hit my right eye on a tree and even when blood was flowing and was soaking my handkerchief, they did not feel like anything happened. All they said was that we should follow them.”

He noted that the eight-man gang was made up of “Fulani boys,” who claimed to be against the government.

The cleric said only one of the hoodlums understood English, while others spoke Fulfulde.

“They even said that if they get Buhari, they will chew him to pieces because he had disappointed them.

“We were taken into the bush and we trekked up to 15 kilometres. Eventually at 11pm, they said we should negotiate and each of us should pay N50m, making N150m,” he added.

He said when he tried to reduce the ransom, the gang threatened to shoot him, adding that their leader was about 35 years old.

Kanu-Uche said the men later pegged the ransom at N100m.

The cleric said he reached out to leaders of the church and his wife to raise the money by all means.

The Prelate said he observed that military men were around the place where the hoodlums operated, while their cows were also around the vicinity.

“They pointed their guns at us. They threatened that if we involved the DSS, police or Army, they would kill us.

“They said down there, there is a gully of seven decomposing bodies and we cut off their heads. We also perceived the odour of killed human beings.

“Their leader asked for five Ghana-Must-Go bags for the N100m. He also said Lagos is on their radar.

“I am asking that the government should act now before another thing starts to happen.

“The Methodist church sent N100m for the three of us who were kidnapped. The money came from members of the Methodist Church of Nigeria. The Nigerian Army is complicit in the kidnapping,” he added.

His wife, Florence, while thanking God for the safe return of the cleric, implored the Federal Government to ensure the security of lives and property.
