S C A R T project is a social entrepreneurship initiative based in Ijevan, Armenia. SCART (scarf +art) batik scarves are a reproduction of artworks of famous artists (Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet and others) handcrafted by extraordinarily talented young women and girls. Apart from generating employment in Ijevan, SCART project has also another mission, i.e to bring art to life, to spread information about famous artists and artworks.
