"Snapchat, Superpowers and your career!"
Hey friends,
A few weeks ago, I created my Snapchat account.
And I started adding people randomly there.
If you have used Snapchat, you know that when you add someone there, you have no information about them.
It’s naturally tough to start a conversation.
So, I started asking them this question as the first message.
“If you could have one superpower, what would it be?”
I know, not a great ice-breaker, but hey, it’s still better than “Hey.”
A lot of people replied with answers like
- Teleportation
- Time travel
- spreading love and peace
- Being invisible
- Cut your hair (weird, but sure)
It got me thinking.....

As someone passionate about learning and development, I find the recent controversy surrounding Rehan Allahwala's course on “Mastering ChatGPT” for a price tag of 25000 PKR (90 USD) particularly intriguing. I strongly believe that Rehan deliberately offered this course to demonstrate the importance of free online resources, such as those available on YouTube and I am glad he is succeeding. Our nation seems to thrive on negativity.
With widespread access to the internet, there has never been a better time to learn and expand one's knowledge. Free courses on platforms like YouTube have made education accessible to a wider audience, breaking down traditional barriers and allowing people to learn at their own pace. However, many still believe education only happens with paid courses in a university. They don’t know how much potential we hold in your hands in a 5-inch box of wires.
With its relatively high cost, Rehan Allahwala's course seems like a calculated move to challenge these beliefs and draw attention to the wealth of free educational resources available. The reaction to his course has only reinforced this point, as the discussion has brought to light the abundance of free courses and tutorials available on YouTube and how they can help us grow as individuals. And that's what education should be about, right? Personal growth and self-improvement.
Regardless of the intent behind the course, It has got people talking and thinking. And at the end of the day, that's a good thing. It's inspiring to see someone who's all about spreading knowledge and education take a stand for free resources and the power of self-learning.
More power to you Rehan Allahwala!

In every tour I have a “God, I am stupid!” moment where I regret leaving my room. In this case it was sleeping in -12 with a summer tent and single sleeping bag 😂
