EDMONTON, AB, CANADA, December 14, 2011, Betty Maxwell, Co-owner and Agent for Serendipity Talent Management, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in talent management. Five years ago, she was approached by her son’s agent, Sherry Packolyk, who was opening her own talent agency and wanted Ms. Maxwell to come on board as a partner. She is now a co-owner and agent for Serendipity Talent Management, a position which entails handling a majority of the administrative, photography and computer aspects of the business, as well as finances, taxes and banking. She also deals with a large pool of talent in theater, film, television, print and radio. Since the company’s inception, Serendipity Talent has found success within the competitive entertainment industry. It is appreciated for its no-nonsense approach to the business and its personal approach to the actors it represents. In addition to her work with Serendipity Talent, Ms. Maxwell continues her successful career in the health care industry. She has been a registered nurse for three decades and has spent the last 21 years at Royal Alexandria Hospital. Certified in preoperative care, she works in all areas of nursing, but primarily in the operating room. She is a charge nurse of the night shift and does precepting and training. Maxwell attributes her success to doing what she believes in and being more comfortable in her own skin. Looking toward the future, she plans to wind down her nursing career and focus on growing Serendipity Talent.
