PLICKERS
https://www.plickers.com/login

I love plickers but my students seem to love it more. Plickers is a teaching tool where teachers that have access to a data plan and high-quality printers can use it. It allows you to check for information using a QR code. This QR code is assigned per number and per student.
If you want to understand more about it, you can create an account or watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXsZ5KGmy2A

My experience:
When I decided to use it, I thought my students would be bored because this is not as fast as kahoot, in fact, they have to be away from their phones all the time, but it turned out to be very interesting. I used with 15 years old and 40 years old students and they all seemed to love it equally.

Instructions:

I think it can be a bit overwhelming to understand how it works, so I divided instructions into 3 steps:
1. Look at the paper sheet with the code. What letters do you see? (A-B-C-D)
2. Raise your right hand. Identify something in the room that is on your right.
3. Answers will be scanned so to choose an answer your letter has to point to the right. Try to show me the answer is A---Now B....Now D

Note: Try to identify if you have any student who has issues identifying their right. Use a red marker to make an X on their right hand so they can identify it.

Downside:
If you do not have a premium account, it will not let you create more than 5 questions per set. However, you can create sets with different questions and you can set it from your phone as the activity runs.
