extends services for testing the presence of various bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mycoplasma in infected poultry and livestock. This is carried out with the help of state of the art technique of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Isolation, identification and determination of drug susceptibility against the disease producing organisms is also carried out to help the doctor/farmer in selecting appropriate drugs for the treatment of their flock/herd. Furthermore, serological evaluation of vaccinated flocks is also carried out to determine post-vaccination antibody titres against a number of vaccines. The techniques of HI, AGPT, and ELISA are employed to detect such antibody response. Plate agglutination Tests are also available for detecting the infection of MS, MG and Salmonella. To evaluate the sanitation conditions tests are also carried out for the determination of bacterial and fungal load at these places. At AveeRose Lab all ELISA based serological tests are carried out for poultry and livestock diseases by using IDEXX-USA kits. For other tests all reagents are obtained from labs of international repute.
